I should mention that Gfriend is known for their unique orchestra pop sound. You always find the instrumental a prominent part of their songs. As a group, Gfriend doesn't rap much, even though it is features in some songs. Sowon carries the label of main rapper and Umji the lead rapper, but their focus has always been, and likely continue to be, their vocal.

Before Gfriend debut, they consist of 7 members and SinB position was lead vocalist but due to some members leave before debut,their company asked Eunha to join Gfriend as an official debut members. By tht time SinB position change from lead vocal to main dancer n Eunha took a part as lead vocal. Thts why y'all notice SinB voice is so good even she's a main dancer

Sowon is main rapper and Umji is lead rapper but it’s rare that they rap and when they do it’s usually small and cute and all members participate in rapping. Though, mainly it would be Sowon. She auditioned with a rap but they mainly trained her as a vocalist.

Thank you for praising and appreciating SinB’s vocals. She’s barely recognized as one of the newer generation’s best dancers, let alone recognized as one of Gfriend’s greatest vocalists!! She is definitely an all-around star! So every compliment we SinB stans see or hear regarding her skills, we are grateful for💜

I love this reaction!!!. the lack of a rapper is honestly what got me drawn to them. And we cant deny they are a VOCAL group, even Sowon's vocals are pretty good compared to the "rappers" of other groups. Im glad to see gfriend getting appreciated for their vocal abilities. they deserved better. Glad that they have more freedom now and can explore more sides of themselves but idefinitely still miss them as a group 😭

This last mini album I do not know if it is the best of Gfriend but it is the most solid, each album they release are jewels, my favorite is Time For The Moon Night and Time For Us, I invite you to react, their bsides are 10

Also thought I would mention that Gfriend built their company from nothing. Their company, Source Music, was never a top company and had only a vocal group which was never active. Gfriend’s practice room was in the basement. So when Gfriend started their MV’s had a low budget but Gfriend kept working hard and they became one of the best and top girl groups in Korea! If you ever need any lyric videos I’ll provide them all, because some of them are inaccurate with who is singing from their earlier songs :) feel free to ask me whenever you need some! SinB used to be a BigHit trainee as well! She was there for around 5 years. She has always wanted to be in the entertainment industry from a young age, she’s trained in dancing ever since she was really young etc and was a child model and appeared on some tv shows when she was young as well! Source Music and BigHit used to be located opposite the street to each other and the CEO’s of both companies have always been close! I’m not exactly the best at explaining this part. Source Music and BigHit used to co-own a group together called GLAM and something happened which I can’t remember and therefore the group disbanded and then BigHit never had a girl group again.
