This would be beautiful if it were really real. It's an act of kindness to get the ball rolling so that ppl don't judge so much. There are some that become homeless and give up on life completely but I'm so thankful I didn't slip into that mentality. I spent the majority of my 20's homeless and a random person walking past me wouldn't know. I kept myself up and still managed to function without looking like I hadn't bathed in months. Life is hard and society is a jerk so I pray for those that are going thru a rough time. It hurts like hell but most things in this life do. Take it one day at a time and keep ur head up, it'll get better eventually💕💕💕💕💕

Bcuz when I was homeless, there was a guy that came to this rec room to cut hair for free every week for the men.. but when I asked if I could do the same for the women I was told NO. I did it anyways but just in an abandoned building n kept it on the low. It's how I got off the streets. Like the person beneath said, most places don't want to be bothered with someone that looks like what they're going thru. But for the places that are actually doing this, I commend them for caring and giving back/paying it forward. Thing is, if the person u help isn't ready to help themselves... they'll only end up looking like this again in no time🤷‍♀️

I have seen homeless pregnant women with nice teeth and well kept eyebrows. This man has done incredible with that pregnant women, bless his heart! I've worked in the homelessness sector for the last 20 years. We are all one bad circumstance or decision away from our own fortunate lives changing. The gift of being able to make someone feel valued or just feel good is always worth it. Do what you can to help others. Whether this is real or not doesn't matter, it raises awareness. Take care ❤

I can remember a time in my life when I was so deeply depressed that my waist length hair only got combed once or twice a month. I wasn't homeless. I had an unemployed husband, three toddlers and another one on the way. I remember those days when it took an hour to comb my hair to get that tangled mess neat enough to visit in-laws. I feel for these poor dear souls you and your family/friends seem to help. I really hope you're real not just a show for gauckers! I wouldn't like used like that. А вам не показалось, что это какая-то подстава. Клоками срезал, а потом показывают, что все волосы равной длины (еще до стрижки). Прям очень сильно смущает. И там много срезали под корень сначала. Т.е. по идее должны быть конкретные проплешины. Так же смущает, что кожа и под волосами и на лице чистая. Без корост, раздражений и т.д. Руки тоже без покраснений, без следов расчесывания. Вот неужели обман?

This film was staged, but the overall idea is real. Homelessness is everywhere (although you have to want to get to such a state of dirt etc) and it is very nice that some hair salons offer vouchers to be used for specific treatments for homeless. Hair is one of our business cards when looking for a job, for example, so its good condition can bring someone closer to getting out of homelessness. It is also logical that the vast majority of people will not want to announce that this person is or was homeless. For this reason, I think the film is great in terms of message and the use of an actress for it (whoever agreed to take part in it) does not interfere with anything.

It's not even just about patience with this man, it's about your own safety. Instead of drug addiction, alcoholism is more common here. However, various services are doing quite well, which is why over time it is an increasingly rare sight. In addition, homelessness itself probably has a different background. Here, the main reason for it is (most often) alcoholism, some choose homelessness to be free (dormitories are free, so apart from the discomfort associated with it, It is easy to earn for your needs by collecting cans or performing small orders). We also have lower crime here.
