Regarding the 9th Slide, INIT Container - you mean to say that, common applications will be downloaded in the shared volume and that will be reutilized by every POD. 2) Init Container is necessary in every POD or its just enough for one POD.?

Hey Ashish, 1. Init containers are exactly like regular containers,which runs before the app containers starts. for example you have a big file which has to be downloaded before your application runs, in that case use init container to download big file and share it with actual application container using volume mount. i have video on use-case of using init and side-car containers, please do have a look into the same kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJu1pZ2HrNp0g9E. 2. not mandatory that you need to have init container for every pod.
