Nice. After creating the Gateway, (istio classic)when I try to list the gateway nothings shows up ? although the creation of Gateway Object was successful in the defined NS. I am on istio 1.17.1

Check all namespaces bcoz may be created different namespace kubectl get gw -A

You get error while deploying Istio using Istioctl For the root user there was a missing file “/root/.kube/config” Using a k3s installation the step to create the missing file are: Error: the server could not find the requested resource sudo cp /etc/rancher/k3s/k3s.yaml . sudo sed -i 's:localhost:hoseplak3s:;s:default:TheNameOfYourHost:g' k3s.yaml sudo KUBECONFIG=~/.kube/config:k3s.yaml kubectl config view --raw > config.tmp sudo mv config.tmp /root/.kube/config istioctl manifest apply --set profile=demo
