It's so funny when you said that this song is complex and not a mainstream kpop (which is true because NCT is popular because their complexity in musical production), but Hello Future is their MOST NORMAL sounding of all NCT's title track. 😭 It's really catchy comparing to their other title track. I mean this is NCT DREAM, so mostly their songs are catchier than other unit, but if you look to other unit like NCT 127, i assure your mind is going to blown away Because if you say Hello Future is complex and non-mainstream (while it's the most normal song of them), then idk what to call to their other songs, esp: 1. NCT 127 - Punch 2. NCT 127 - Simon Says 3. NCT 127 - Superhuman 4. NCT DREAM - Hot Sauce Not to mention their b-side tracks 🤣🤣🤣 Please react to more NCT. Have i gotten your seal of approval for great music!? 😅 another super intricate song is *Superhuman by NCT 127!* All of SM Entertainment's songs are experimental like this! Adrian Mckinnon is the top liner and he worked on Superhuman too! He has worked on some of my favorite songs. The producers are Moonshine (can you find their producer tag? Hehe) They also produce a lot of SM's songs! This is why i love SM's music. Althought they do have some mainstreams songs(but what sets it apart is the vocals and harmonie), they like to experiment with their sound. IMO, i am not a fan of the "play it safe" songs. I get bored of them easily. But with these songs, i can listen to it for years and keep finding new elements! Here are some other interesting, not your typical mainstream songs! - Superhuman by NCT 127 - Punch by NCT 127 (the producer said there are over 250 tracks without the vocals! - Cherry Bomb by NCT 127 - Tempo by EXO - Don't Call Me by SHINee - Next Level by aespa - Zimzalabim by Red Velvet - Something by TVXQ (if you like instruments, this one is really cool) - From Home Rearranged Version by NCT U (this one is more of a vocal flex!!) Trust me, you will really enjoy NCT’s songs because of their complex structure in music, I mean their discography is varied. They got a lot of unique sounds, vocal mixing is on point, academic melodies which you said that is not type of mainstream songs (especially in bridges). That’s why all producers/composers’s reaction video of NCT is so interesting, they got a lot of things to say.
