This is a true stop-motion masterpiece, and I'm happy you enjoyed it so much. The animation is, of course, fantastic, Kubo, Monkey, and Beetle are all such great characters, Kubo's arc is incredibly well done, and the heavy, emotional scenes still make me tear up to this day. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen, and I don't think that will change anytime soon.

That puppet they showed the inner workings of in the credits is the biggest stop-motion puppet ever made. I got to see it on display in a museum, and it's like 40 feet tall. This entire movie is a visual masterpiece.
