Kubota cleaning tips

Grease is definitely one of the bugbears that I have with my equipment because I like to keep the Kubota shiny I get extra finicky about it. I am solving this by being careful to not over apply grease when greasing but also by cleaning excess off immediately.

Great video. I have just purchased a new kubota here in Australia and struggling on trying to find a suitable grease to use. Any recommendations? Everyone recommends something different and most greases recommended on websites are not available here in oz. Thanks.

I got given the advice from two kubota dealers to just use a quality extreme pressure grease. You're regularly flushing all the plain/bushing bearings with grease anyway, I would not loose any sleep over it. I use Castrol EP.

You shuld just use Zerk covers, to keep the dirt away from the grease fittings. Sorry, but I've never heard anyone use the term "grease nipple" - we Americans call them "Zerks" or grease fittings.
