What tractor did you pull the 7’ disc mower

Have an MX6000 cab model and run a NH 488 Haybine (9' cut) without difficulty, but looking for a mower that is not 30 years old. How big a disc mower can you run with that tractor?

I run the smallest version (DM1017) only a length of 5’6, on my Mx5400. I’d rather have the next size bigger, DM1022, but wondered how the tractor would handle it weight wise. Not so much worried about it in the mowing position, but more of the upright transporting position. I do cut on a few steep hillsides as well.
