なんかこの人凄くない？ 手の感じから若い人っぽいんだけど、自分が生まれる遥か昔のエンジンを直しちゃうとか驚き。 現代のエンジンとは違うノウハウがたくさん必要だと思うんだけど、事も無げに直してるし。 再塗装をしたりビカビカにレストアするんじゃなくて、年式相応の雰囲気を残したままってのも好感が持てる。

I just found your channel...Nice videos keep them coming! My advice is to do full restoration (including painting) so it will be a little longer and more interesting to see all this old equipment as good as new. Only one question; when you are lapping the valves you hit them while doing the lapping. Why do you do that? I know that lapping process is when you turn the valves firmly on their valve seats using lapping compound to achieve maximum valve sealing between the valve and the valve seat....

Do this engine got Timing mark guide before installing cylinder head to prevent valve hitting piston? sorry for my english

Look for engine shows wherever you're located, you'll find something. If you're in the states, you're more likely to find Briggs & Stratton engines.

撮影は光線の感じがよいのでよくわかる映像です。ただ、素人はまねできないかなあと思う。特に噴射ポンプの組み立てが難しそう。私は工具は大体そろっているので分解はできるが、組み立てになると、図と説明文が必要です。でも参考になりました。

ちゃんと扱っていれば十分長持ちですね。 特に単純な構造のエンジンは壊れる要素も少ないのでいつまでも動きますね。 販売することもありますが、動画になっているのは展示物が主ですね(^^ゞ

I have watched a few of your videos and I do like the content. I have to put the speed up as you do things too slow for me. When you undo or tighten nuts / bolts, you go too slow. Nobody works like that. For me it isn't natural. Great videos though. I would love to have a small one cylinder diesel engine.

トップリングとサードリングの位置関係が違うような・・・ 普通こういう場合トップ・セカンド・サードそれぞれ120°ずつずらすのがオーソドックスなやり方ですね。オイルリングとの関係もあるのでこうなったんですかね

コンパウンドですね。 バルブ擦り合わせの真似事です(^^ゞ

バルブコンパウンド。普通はシートリングを切って、バルブのフェースも三段階の切り直し。面を出す為、すり合わせをする。した後光明丹であたり幅の確認をする。コンプレッション確保の為。
