The reason why people tells you to go to the borneo cultural museum is because its huge (2nd biggest in south east asia) and it is very modern with technologies giving fun education and just so many history from the stone age, to the people until sarawak independence. It gives you a virtual tour unlike other museum. Its like our own louvre.

Dear myer, I'm glad that you're enjoying stay in Sarawak, surrounded by welcoming people, but, can you remove the old Malaya flag in thumbnail? It may lead to controversy, you didn't knew the difference between malaya, malaysia, and Sarawak flag yet, you need to check the little history facts about Malaya and sarawak flag to know little things about Sarawak, Thank you! Sincerely love from Sarawak

@@YWYW476 I'm just asking him to change the flag from thumbnail, that's not our flag, that's MALAYA flag get it? MALAYA and MALAYSIA is different, have you notice the flag design in the thumbnail? There wasnt anything like that when I was there over a decade ago. So small a couple stories sort of dirty place down the street next to river. Was some apartments and maybe restarants, a bigger hotel complex. And more traditional marketplaces and bus stops, etc. Pretty slow pace there. Takes all day seems, if one goes to Orang-Utan jungle station or National park near coast. Worse somewhere between Sandanese/Krakatau Java and there, my head, headache, and stomach spun around so bad for 5 days, I was dumb, not realizing it was Typhoid/Salmonella, so off to the main hospital for another 5 days. You said it was hot, equatorial..not real bad, decent temp.but yeah.

Vivacity is big in Kuching but of course it's not as big as malls in KL. 1:25 That's Parkson. 7:18 For the umpteenth time, Malaysia is a Muslim-MAJORITY country (a federation actually). And Sarawak is NOT a Muslim-majority State. In fact, Sarawak DOES NOT have an official religion and the State's official language is English alongside BM as the national language.

@@myertravels No need to be sorry bro. Southwest Sarawak (Kuching & Samarahan) is predominantly Muslims. Coastal areas of Sarawak are Muslim majority areas but if you go further inland, those areas are not. In fact, Southwest Sarawak is the Malay Heartland technically and Malays are technically Muslims. Kuching vibe is different from Miri if you notice that. Furthermore, only around 34% Sarawakians are Muslims (Mostly Malays, Melanaus & Kedayans). Thank you for coming to Kuching.

there is difference between the kopi you get from kopitiam and zus franchise. i like kopi from best corner, 7 stars and tabuan jaya, but by strong you just get the taste of sweetness and kindof normal coffee, there's no aroma fragrance that stays in your mouth like you get from zus, but you just gonna pay for it, rm10 compared to kopitiam rm3 kopi

Don't look down on rural people. They're more stable than those from the city. They have their own lands. They don't pay rental. If they want to eat fish, just go to the river n do some fishing. If you want meat just go to the jungle n trap wild boars or other types of animals.

Malaysia is not a Muslim country..islam is only the official religion in the federal and there's is no official religion in Sarawak, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of the Federation Of Malaya does not apply to Sarawak.. that the 20 point agreement sign by 4 country namely sabah, sarawak, Singapore & malaya to form a new nation by the name of "malaysia" which we called Malaysia agreement 1963 (MA63) after we gained independent from the British but after 2 years Singapore left Malaysia and on it's own.. sarawak is a country by itself but as a equal partner in malaysia so if those from west Malaysia need to visit sarawak they will need to use passport and can stay for a maximum 3 months for each entry and if they enter sarawak for work they need to apply for working permit..sarawak has our own autonomy
