I'll admit I never seen anyone play a bawu nor did I recognize the instrument's sound. Looks relatively easy to play, and sounds like a cross between a clarinet and a recorder. I like the lower tone it has. Accompanies the bass well.

there's 2 kinds of bawu: horizontal and vertical. Vertical is much more convinient for me because of the fingers position and way to blow.

The key of the bawu should be E, while the piece is in c# minor. Lowest note of the bawu is B
