Kudremukha Literally Means Horse Face in Kannada Language. Kudremukha peak is located near to Kalasa which is around 300 kms from Bangalore. Kudremukha Trek starts from base Village Mullodi Which is around 15 kms from Kalasa. This Peak is very close to Another Famous Peak Known as Nethravathi Peak. Total Trek distance of Kudremukha Peak from Kudremukha Forest Office is around 19-20 kms.

Guide is compulsory. Bike is allowed but it will very difficult to go in bike till forest office in monsoons as there is no proper road.

Which is good Netravati trek or Kudremukh trek???

It's little bit difficult to answer. Both are good. Nethravathi is easy trek , only 4 kms one way and newly opened trek. kudremukha is tough compared to netravthi and is almost 9-10kms one way. Views are good in both treks. So you can decide which you want to trek. If you have time i would say trek both.
