Kufri- Top tourist place in Himachal near Shimla| Day trip itinerary

It was my first time in Kufri and I fell in love. The views are seriously insane and we were lucky enough to get a bright sunny day with clear views and too in the winter, so YES WE PLAYED IN THE SNOW. We decided to avoid the regular horse/khachhar ride up the hill and chose to fun activities instead and I recommend you do the same. In this vlog you will find details of our drive, the roadside stalls, and of course the place we went to in Kufri where we had the most amount of fun- Adventures Resort Kufri.
If you’re travelling when there is snow, I suggest you take a driver with you. We paid Rs.1800/- from Sanjauli to Kufri and back. Sanjauli is 3 kms from Shimla towards Kufri so if you take a taxi from Shimla it should cost anywhere from Rs.2000-3000 for the round trip.
You can also choose an overnight stay in Kufri and on our way we saw two hotels that had unbelievably beautiful views- Radisson Kufri and Sterling Resorts Kufri.

You have made my day. Have been to Kufri once on a wet windy cold day in October and did not enjoy it a bit. Very wise to use a taxi. That gave you the freedom to enjoy the drive . It seems economical to do it from the village. The road is wide and well maintained. I could see a snow plough on the road side. The habit of roadside parking should not be encouraged. The road near the resort seems in poor condition. The rides are all attractive but.the walk for a senior citizen like me may need local carts for to go from point to point. Camera work is good. Just worried that one needs a good grip on the mobile. Covered the whole day trip very well. Looking forward to more from you. Thanks again

A very detailed review indeed. Its not suitable for senior citizens. If you plan to visit Kufri, better to book a nice chalet with a view and relax.
