I just bought this one as well. The clip you showed in the main compartment is actually to hang your hydration bladder.

Really like KUIU packs. I've been eyeing that divide or the venture for my daughter to use when we head to Colorado for a backpacking fishing trip

I've not looked at the Venture. But there are lots of options for the Divide. You can easily fit the light essentials in this pack.

I've heard alot about mystery ranch but haven't tried their products yet. After having this pack for close to a year now, I'll say it's been pretty durable. It's stood up to alot of different tests! Thanks for watching

That is a nice looking day pack. We like to hike from time to time, day hike only, so I need a good pack. I have a cheaper one now just hadn't pulled the trigger on a nice one yet.

Everything but the kitchen sink. Thats something to think about as far as hauling camera gear. I like all the compartments in that pack.

I can easily carry almost all of my camera equipment in it. The many compartments are very handy as I can also keep everything seperated. Thanks Tom for watching the video. Appreciate it as always!

I am a photographer/hiker. Would this pack be good for carrying a spotting scope 85mm, dslr with a 400mm lens, and tripod?

Honestly I think you will have room left over, I can carry two tripods, two canon HFG50s, numerous gopros, batteries and accessories

Great review! How is the hip removed? Is it held by a twist cam or velcro, or can it just be pulled out?

It has a plastic buckle, it's not removable from the pack itself

It should, I have a tall nalgene, and it fits. The pockets do stretch
