Plenty of water, must have seen a fair bit of rain. You picked a lovely spot to camp. I love sleeping close to running water like that, very relaxing. Thanks for another great video.

On the Kuiu website it says the hydrostatic head is only 3000 mm, seems a bit low for a 4 season tent

They say it's a 3+ season tent!! Proper 4 season would be warmer. It's a good all-rounder, but not for proper cold places I would say.

There is no water in the "4th" season anyway, only ice and snow.

I'm on the waiting list to buy the mountain star I am a little concerned about the 1200hh of the rain fly if I'm honest tho.ive got the storm star it's an excellent tent and hoping the mountain star will be aswell

I never had an issue with the HH on mine, had a Nemo Hornet which I sold on, that had a low HH, but was sound in the rain. The new pole system on the mountain star looks a lot better than the one in this vid. Nice new stealthy looking colour on the new tent aswell

@@btryan1000 Thanks for replying it's eased my concerns about the HH not sure what you mean about different pole structure I thought it was the same as the 1 in your vid or do you mean the new carbon poles the camel and gun metal does look great

@@craig3401 No worries. On the new version the tent has half pole sleeves. The one on the vid, the poles are all exposed. Looks nice anyway, gd luck with the tent bud

Good tent choice Brendan. I have the storm star. Do they do a none mesh inner for the M S I wonder?

Yeah, prob best tent that Ive ever had, features to weight ratio. Not sure if they have a full mesh inner, I bought this one in Ireland. Storm Star looks solid, good weight too.

I have the same tent. How long you have yours? I used mine a few times but this last time I tested it in a Hurricane and it leaked a bit where the pols cross and attach to the tent with the clip. I seem sealed it so we see next storm. I also had issue with teh inner mess but KUIU replaced it so I was happy. Wonder your review of this tent….

I've since moved the tent on. But I really liked the tent n never had any issues with it. Good spacious strong tent, a bit pricey though

That's an updated version, looks a better pole setup, but more expensise.
