Attitude trumps all. Nice example to all those who will venture outside and rely on a guide and his equipment. When things break and look hopeless, keep hope alive with a positive attitude, make the most of what you have, be thankful for being in the backcountry and take what nature sends you. You’re an inspiration Pedro!

Good video. I like the way you stayed mentally tough until the end. I tend to be a pretty easy going guy, but for what you pay for a Yukon moose hunt they should have bought you a new friggin boat.
@pedroampuerohunting6 жыл бұрын
Agree Mike! I learned that you can't fight the world, and good things happen if you focus on enjoying things how they are. Focus on the good things, and just being in the Yukon is good enough, who cares about our submarine! :) Thanks a lot!!!

Pedro Ampuero I respect and admire you and your dad. Perhaps your pop could have set the world record for first moose taken with a torpedo :) anyway, I hope we end up in camp together sometime and some place.

Lindo video Pedro..no has intentado cazar con arco tradicional?
@pedroampuerohunting6 жыл бұрын
Micidiale870 mi primer intento fue con tradicional pero me siento más cómodo con el poleas, volveré algún día con el palo!
@Micidiale8706 жыл бұрын
bien, yo he cazado con ambos y la verdad que ya no vuelvo a las poleas, me quedo con la simplicidad del "palo". La punta que usaste fue una VPA?

I too know that bloody eyebrow. I can say what I want about being an expert rifleman, but there happens to be some scar tissue in the same spot on my face from repeated lacerations. Wonder how they got there?

It may sound silly, but I didn't think Europeans hunted with bows. Mostly Americans and Canadians. Learn something every day.

Bows have a long history all over the world. Here's a great little informative gallery! outdoorchannel.com/photogallery.aspx?id=17701&genre-id=12991&index=1#p

KUIU Ultralight Hunting . I get that. I just thought that most countries in Europe didn't hunt with them. Cruelty to animals, or some such silliness.
@kuiuultralight6 жыл бұрын
Gotcha. Some are more into bows than others--Spain in particular has a really strong hunting culture, so it makes sense that they tend to have a little more interest in bows.

KUIU Ultralight Hunting . I would imagine Hungary too...
@pedroampuerohunting6 жыл бұрын
Hey David, true many countries are ilegal in Europe but some do offer amazing hunting opportunities. There are way more bowhunters in the states but here numbers are growing quick, we have plenty of opportunities. I love taking my bow as much as I can, and we can bow hunt all year round in spain which is awesome! Thanks for you comment!
