the problem is the CGI. the West are used to traditional 2D, and they're not adapting to the CGI cause it's dramatic change. it don't look like anime but cut scenes from a video game.

its a reference or spin off of avatar universe. you can see them bend elements. but I think the new added sounds kinda make it look like a avatar copycat. it was just a perfect fit. something like old china but with avatar magic. gotta be honest though, the combat sounds were clear, yes, but they lack the umpf. and the music is sometimes to loud and sometimes effect sounds are to loud. But the overall sound quality is really muffled. therefore my rating is an honest 2 out of 10. Sorry but it was really terrible compared to sound designs of standard anime/cartoons

@@the_catboi you must remember that there are only 6 people working on fog hill of the five elements, so try to do it all by yourself to see how hard it is.

@@dester8589 6people is plenty to understand that the sound design wasn't as crisp. I am currently student in an animation school and doing a final film all by myself, including sound and editing, and will definitely watch out for sounds that sound too muffled. I mean there are also only 6 working on other animations in different schools, for example goblin's. They kinda seem to nail it too. I know that they are the top of the top. But still comparison stands. I'm guessing this short was made by a newly established group. And they are still learning. And my rating is just overall, I'm not hating on the animation, it's just that the sound design was poor and ruined the film. There are people who don't even go to school and were able to create shorts here on KZbin all by themselves that have way better sound design. And also i was making a comment on this video and not the video op of this comment suggested

Es mas complicado, primero el director abandono el proyecto luego de AÑOS de desarrollo, no tuvieron de otra que reciclar lo que pudieran para no perder dinero y actualmente se encuentra se encuentra congelada pues habían cambiado todo para cortar la película y volverla una serie en 2019 pero igual se retraso y se decidio hacer más cambios para poder lanzarlo por fin en 2020-2021
