In his perspective, whatever he asked is right, he wasn't talking about Debt to GDP ratio. 101 lakh crore is India's owing money. It doesn't matter whether it was borrowed to invest in various businesses, or to stabilize the economy of the nation. And even if you look at the debt to gdp ratio it is 90.6% in 2021 which is really high and it goes on increasing year after year, which clearly means that the country's economy is constantly going down. His question is why we owe this much money, and if it is not direct debt as you mentioned what we did with that money to improve the gdp of the nation.

What we did? even we have villages which don't have electricity mobile networks etc. INDIA is huge bro' In the last 10 years (BJP+ Congress) our achievement (as INDIA) is huge. RTI, Adhar was brought by congress which helped BJP to capitalize and improve our economy.

These young journalists seemed to attend a learning class from Mr Narayanan thus totally exhibiting their ignorance on basic common issues in and about our country. They are influenced by what they have studied in school (a distorted version) and by the local politicians and raise questions on issues. I will only blame our education system especially in tamizh nadu.
