The variables are the ones highlited in bold (black) in the top left corner in the google docs. I think that if you can make a video with some ladder logic in Tia that tipically techinician uses to talk with kuka (an Fb or Fc for example with phases of work for example ready, mode, error, all ok so drive on, load job....etc...) would be a great experience. Of course sharing the project ! What do you think?

@@marcol5374 Yes we will do in that in the near future, we will automate ours with a function block and show the sequence diagram as a circuit with gates. There are many things we need to do and other robots we have to program. But definitely that will be another of our videos. Until then I hope you like the next videos and keep following us. Thank you very much, it's quite the same instead of declaring digital inputs you add an analog input that has to be a integer value in the profinet stack. Following this video, on the left where i have digital IO select analogue and on the right where the fieldbuses are select profinet. Then select the type of uint or int and link them togther. That's it.

Hi thank you for your comment, well without declaring the variable in kuka you can call the corresponding input mapped to those Siemens values in the Krc4.

hello, I'm a student who is doing my thesis with Tia Kontrol KUKA with mxAutomation. there is always a problem with the configuration, KRC_Major, Minor, and Revision are not matched to PLC_Major, minor, and Revision(the numbers are 3 2 2 3 2 0), and ErrorID is 414. could you please tell me what should I do so that I could solve this problem? thank you very much for the answer

I'm confused you did all this in "T1" mode. Shouldn't it be in "Ext" mode?

Im not really using the smartpad much in this video, only to show how to change the IP and connect. The whole point of this video is to start a program in AUTO Ext mode with a PLC. You need to be on "EXT" mode when I am forcing the outputs of the PLC in the minute 08:00

Hi, can you do this same with Officelite? (virtual machine). I want to connect Officelite to Beckhoff PLC (read and write values) and Beckhoff PLC to KUKASIm via beckhoff ads.

Add the HMI -> Simatic comfort panel -> 7" Display -> add your device. Then make sure the profinet name and IP address are correct like with the PLC in the video and you will have both connected.
