@@mgroupofficial Ok, and what is your plan when your lo press hose snaps or you experience free flow in 60m, or you accidentaly drop to 75m? That something is possible doesn't mean it is safe! You break all safety rules you can possibly break. Guess why there are depth limits for every license you might get? Why there are minimum requirements for gear you use? Twinset, stages, redundancy for every component of your gear so you can handle situations when you lose some of your gas for example. You are not good example for divers. Someone might die if he/she would use your stupid advice.

Deep diving is no joke! Here is one of my stories and I have several. Was running with some wild and crazy guys! Had been deep diving on straight oxygen 120-160' for several weeks in the Philippines. Wanted to break 200' just for bragging rights. Ha Ha. Hung extra tanks at 170',110' and 40' for decompression (using Navy tables). The wall was beautiful and I started picking up my descend speed at about 160' and leveled out at 210'. What beautiful surroundings and a nice feeling at 210'. So nice that I began to giggle and I mean REALLY GIGGLE. Not a care in the world. Needed to take a breath and noticed something was not right. Took some effort to stop giggling and focus. That's when I noticed my mouthpiece was floating in front of my face. WOW that's crazy. So, I purged and began breathing. After several breaths I began to giggle once again. I mean UNCONTROLLABLE GIGGLES!!!! Not a care in the world! Needed another breath and noticed something was not right. It took a whole lot of effort to stop giggling and focus!!! Wow, there was my mouthpiece floating again in front of my face. Realized this was serious stuff! Purged, took a breath and begin to ascend at which time I was no longer narc ed. Looked for my dive buddy and he was at 150' waving me to ascend. Spend my time decompressing at various depths and survived. Only one breath away from dying! Deep diving is no joke!!!!! And if your buddy is on compressed air also (you cannot depend on him). Will leave on a sad note. Several weeks later on a night dive (another wall and current dive) off the island of Cebu, we lost a buddy. Found him several days later. Be Careful out there Buddies.

What do you mean with straight oxygen ? Pure oxygen ? :D Because that absolutely makes no sense at all because we divers do not use pure Oxygen in our tanks because of oxygen toxicity from the higher pressure. So deep diving and pure oxygen does not fit at all. If you dive with pure oxygen the maximum depth to breath safely is around 4 metres (13 ft). :) Edit: Or is your comment about apnoe diving ?

Point blanck: this guy is moving his arms, demonstrating that he has zero buoyancy skills. You don't go down to 60 m with this beginner, as IANTD Instructor I would stop at 20 m max and he would have to improve his buoyancy first. + beyond 40 m it's a double tank and trimix.

My advice to anyone thinking of doing this is to at the very least prepare an extra tank of air waiting for you at 5 metres for an extended safety stop. Miss judging how much air your going to use up is the biggest most common mistake.

Sorry to be negative, but if you uploaded this you should be ready for that🙂 Have no idea why it’s here but this video just gives me so many questions as I am a technical diver. What is that guy doing there on a single cylinder, why double tank guys at that dept on a single gas and looking unorganized? Think the name of this upload should be “How to take part in an unresponsible dive and to brag about it”😅 I know you don’t care and that was long ago, and maybe it’s kind of crazy memories for you, but people watching and believe they can do too. But thank you for taking my attention and time for comment! 😅

Real Narosis and Real Oxygen Toxicity! What gobshite took what is obviously a newly qualified unstable diver down to 62M? The PPO2 would be >1.5 and on air would set off alarms on my setup. I'd want 18/35 Trimix to do that safely. Who knows what the bottom time actually was due to editing and what deco obligations he incurred were on a single 12L... I have dived Yolanda and he could have easily gone much deeper in the state he was in, off his head. Madness!!

The only mistake in my comment is that was about the straight oxygen. I meant to say it was straight from the normal compressor. Believe it or not the story is very true. For all of you freaking out, your NOT WRONG. This is very VERY dangerous and irresponsible especially on the part of ole buddy with the single (SINGLE 🤣 80). Being narked that deep is no joke like it’s NOT a game ok? It’s life and death I’ll totally TOTALLY agree with y’all there.. HOWEVER, all that being said, I’ve been to just shy of 195 ft on more than one occasion myself. Now I’ve been diving since I was 16 (now 24) and all these deep dives where after I had already gotten my open water level 2 advanced cert. Witch btw I did a night dive IN A CAVE to get. My old dive instructor was really cool (ole navy sat rat) and we did the dive at vortex springs and went back to the locked gate in the cave about 110 ft total depth can’t remember how far penetration wise into the cave but definitely no more than 200 ft or so, maybe a smidge less. And that was dangerous too but my father was also with me and he’s been diving since before I was born and is a very conservative diver and he was ok with it partially because Lyle (instructor) was there also. It sounds sketch and it lowkey was but if you have dove there before you know it’s not as bad as it sounds. Anyway yeh though, on more that one occasion I’ve been to just shy of 200 on a single tank (air not nitrox idk if you can even go that deep with nitrox) to shoot grouper and snapper on this really cool wreck my dad and I know about in the gulf about 18 or so miles almost due south of Panama City Fl. Old navy supply vessels about 100 ft long and In great shape to have been there for almost 50 years. Because of the depth it’s not dove hardly at all and the fish on it aren’t very skiddish. And there’s HUGE grouper and snapper on it. Not gunna lie your pretty narked at 190ish. Very impaired. Pretty much like having 4 or 5 shots of whiskey hit you at once with a good whippit on top of it lol but if your experienced and know your limits and don’t hangout longer than it takes to shoot ONE good fish, maybe 2 mins at the most, it’s not too terribly sketchy. Now send the hate comments I’m ready!! And btw, you guys should chill, I always wondered why people get soooo fkn mad at OTHER people striving for that Darwin Award it’s like just grab the popcorn at watch the fuckin show!! As long as we aren’t directly endangering anyone else y’all should just fkn chill. Anyway thanks for coming to my Ted talk!!😘😘

It's because newer divers see this and might this and think it is acceptable behavior. By all means, do stupid things that have a significant chance of killing you, just don't post videos of it on the internet without explaining just how much of an idiot you are.
@christofferj8963 жыл бұрын
Why people react is not just problem with nakosis but PPo2. Some might be more vulnerble than others to narcosis and also not an exact sicence of when people get decompression sickness nor oxygen toxicity. So sure beyond 40m is not necessarily dangerous on air, but could affect you much, and you will get a deco at almost 60 meter. So why 1,4 pp02 is recommended is to keep it safe not because its not possible. Why risk it? The oxytox (cns) is nasty while being submerged (maaybe better witht fullface perhaps?.) And the narcosis could make you do bad calls. So dahab is a good example of why people posting this stuff is a bad idea. So many trying to go through that arch. However i took interest in this video. Becuase i was curious. I barely go deeper than 40 without trimix and a 50%. So it did caught my attention, and i watched it even if worried, we are curious fools

@@trader2137 You know nothing about diving, do you? Why even post these comments? Just because someone survived without the proper equipment or training, doesn't mean it's smart. I could grab a single cylinder and go to 62metres, I might even survive, again... And again... And again, till I don't. There's a reason why extra cylinders are carried (Often cases, deco gasses as well) and there's a reason as to why helium is used. If you don't understand this, you may want to go back to the basics of OW, though again I doubt you are certified or even took it seriously if you are.
