Thank you for sharing all your challenges. It’s nice to know I’m not the only knitter who makes such silly mistakes (ordering yarn but forgetting the yarn you were intending to buy). I burst out laughing when you told the story

I must say you look gorgeous in your new test knitted shirt EVEN THOUGH you called me out for my multiple Cumulus Tee 😂❤️ I’m also in a green phase (twins!) and I watched your episode while knitting on a green top. Also, I want to come live near you and do all the knitting get together with yarn and donuts 🍩

Thank you very much!!! I'm just jealous of all your beautiful tees, we should do 6 months in Italy and 6 months in Sydney and eat all the pasta and donuts

Thank you for the shout out for the directory!!! That was awfully nice of you! Also, let's just forget about the yarn ordering dilemma, who of us hasn't frantically tried to combine shipping of two subsequent orders because we forgot something........... 🤭🙈

Such fun as usual, thanks for the laughs too - what an epic journey for the test knit!! Forgot the mohair!! That's the type of nonsense I'd get up to, I did that with Chiagoo extensions and yep forgot to order them, frantic email later and all sorted but......!!!!! Love the inspiration, thanks for sharing x

Thanks so much Karen, I have had so many people tell me they've done something similar so I feel much much better. Loved your Abydos top as well. Thanks for watching xx

A nurses’ uniform from a 1950’s mental hospital creates such a vivid image! so funny 😂 I hope you’re staying warm and dry in this mad weather. Thanks so much for your lovely podcast you have such great taste

Thanks so much, I am definitely more of a knitter but I'll never get better with sewing if I don't make a nurse uniform here and there.

An 8 hour podcast would not be a bad thing at all, but I do enjoy spending time with you Ira! I totally relate to thinking you’re a certain size only to realise you’re not!

Hi Ira! Thank you for sharing that fingerless glove technique! I’ve needed a pair of fingerless gloves for so long but I just can’t bring myself to knit 10 separate fingers - I’ve even considered buying ready made ones! I have too many wips going on so I won’t be able to knit them right now but there’s always next winter. Also, the craft and quilt fair is coming to Melbourne next week so I might just check it out! ❤️

Hi!! Sounds like we are on the same page with knitting fingers on mittens, hopefully this pattern works out for you as well. Such a good free technique. I also have a feeling I won't finish the second mitt till next winter 🤭

I discovered your channel through one of your comments on High Fiber Knits. I really enjoyed it. I laughed out loud when you said you added the sweater quantity of yarn and then forgot to order the mohair! A riot. I’d do exactly the same thing. Just subbed.

Oh, almost forgot...watch Taylor E. Owens, I think she’s also known as A Thread to Mend, for ideas for your Green Mountain Spinnery. She loves that yarn. Stay safe.

I do watch her! I might have to rewatching a few older episodes to get ideas now that I have the yarn in hand. Thanks so much for the suggestion.
