Hello good afternoon. I have a question. I have the kukirin g3 pro and I replaced the original 25A controller for the 30A And I did not have the long cable extension, and I just cut the cables from the old controller and connect all the same color wires to the new controller and when I turn it on to test it, I noticed the wheels was going on reverse Do you know why this happened? I really appreciate it if you let me know how to fix it thank you.

@@elcuervo9721 I tried swapping the wires around but couldn’t get it so I ended up turning the motor & the Axle & it worked great for 2 weeks, more speed , more torque, smoother acceleration & the Power braking Control in the P settings actually worked. I was using Mode 2 single motor more often as it was much better than b4 but it then started to melt the rear motor cable back to the new 30amp controller & took out the rear hall sensor (easy enough to fix $10) It must be wired different inside the controller. I might open up mine & see if I can repair it & then see if I can work out the wiring & give it another try on my spare motor .

If you add 15g small steel car wheel weights to the wheel hub in one of the gaps it stops the wheel vibrations. The tube valve on the wheel unbalances the wheels, adding the small weights counters this. I'm also looking to do the same mod as you but Ive the G2 master, just cant find a controller, and I don't think the roadrunner rs5 controller will work in mine

The front brake needed realigned to stop it rubbing on the Disc & it was a pretty wobbly chair 🤣 if you upgraded the G2 master to this controller u would need the display / throttle/controls that go with it & the motors . The battery connection might need altered but at least it’s 52v 😃 Wasn’t long b4 I wanted mine to go faster 🛴💨

@@scottishcanna-dian7965 Can you tell me the cutoff voltage to these scooters ? Mine got down to 44 volts and wouldn't go any faster then 20kmh, then shut off? It was fully charged and after 10 miles it dropped down to 44 volts, hope I don have a bad cell in the battery pack

@@Wayne55231 G3 Pro 52v controller has a 42V cut off but really you start notice a loss in power when it drops below 52v . It will start about 59V & you will get battery 🔋 sag that’s stays above 52V then when it gets to 55v the battery sag will drop below 52v & you will notice it doesn’t hit peak top speed anymore. They aren’t great batteries in my opinion. I’ll hopefully buy the 32AH LG Battery from Roadrunner when it’s available again. 🛴💨

@@scottishcanna-dian7965 Ive opened the battery deck, btw the scooter is brand new, only 5 days old. Ive disconnected the battery from the controller and checked all connection are solid. I try to only charge to 80-90% and not let the battery go below 30-20% before recharging again. Ive been taking it easy, only keeping the scooter in single motor mode and the power in mode 2 also. The manufacture says 70km range but its more to 40 to 50km. Hopefully the battery and bms is ok. I bought the scooter brand new boxed from a private seller and not in a store, Kukirin warranty doesn't cover private sale, so if its fucked ill have to fix it my self.

@@scottishcanna-dian7965 Just discovered my g2 master has a faulty screen voltage readout. It reads 65v at full charge, took a multi meter reading at the battery and it was 58.8v. Also another reading at the cable leaving the controller to the screen and it was also 58.8. Guess I need a new screen. They're 40 euro aliexpress. So that explains my problem. I only charge my battery to 80-90% and never let it go below 30% to keep the battery healthy. So cant do that now with a faulty voltage reading on screen. Picked up a cheap china made 6133 battery gauge and wired it to the battery connectors and mounted it to a phone holder mount for a quick cheap fix.

does the g3 pro have e-abs brakes , if not can they be added by changing the controller ?
@scottishcanna-dian7965Ай бұрын
I had the A version controller & found the e/abs brakes didn’t work no matter what the PB setting is . I now have the B Version & it works but not very good . When I tried out the RS5 MAX V2 controller I found the e/abs worked perfect with what ever the PB setting is. You will need to buy the motors to go with this controller at the same time as the G3 Pro motors are already maxed out .

@@yonatansantana4269 sit the scooter up on a chair, turn off the kick start function, test it like the title says (no load) to prevent any confusion. You can change the controller to give the scooter more power?
@scottishcanna-dian79652 ай бұрын
@@andreig642 I wouldn’t recommend doing it without buying the RS5 Max Motors. I’ve went back to the 25amp controller as it was affecting the black - hall sensor wire on my rear motor. It worked great for about 2 weeks , the speed & torque increase was impressive but when using mode 2 single going uphill with the extra amps was too much after a while . I’ll wait till I get the motors b4 trying the 30amp controller again. Annoying after it didn’t show any issues & was way smoother than the stock & the power breaking actually worked . 🛴💨

@@scottishcanna-dian7965 Roadrunner has in its store some 1400W motors from the RS5 Max scooter that I think fit the G3 Pro, since you have the 30 amp controller you could mount two of those motors. It would work well and can even reach a speed of 50 mph.

@@yonatansantana4269 if it’s not possible to change it at the controller, I’ll probably just swap the wires for “free” or make up 2 little extension pieces with the wires swapped so I can just remove it if I ever need to use the old controller . 🛴💨

@@محمد-ش2ض5د me too , I’m still trying to find out about the learning mode cable to see if it can be altered at the controller. (I could try it but I don’t know what the extra cable is for yet , my stock controller doesn’t have this spare cable. switching the wires at my motor didn’t work with a number of combinations . I’m going to try just turning the motor around inside it housing. I have a spare faulty motor I can practice with to see if it’s possible hopefully all I should need is to do is swap the bearings around as the axle is 15mm one side & the other 17mm. I know this the main upgrade I want to see it too 😤, to get an extra 15- 20kph would be great , I get 75kph going downhill on my G3 Pro…..I’m might get 95kph with this & I’ll be happy with 80/85kph on the flat. I’m upgrading most things, I still have the new B version controls to fit(just waiting on a 6pin cable) & 4 piston NUTT brakes . So far I’d highly recommend upgrading the shocks to the Exa 291R …. that rebound adjustment makes a huge improvement. I’ll definitely get that 30amp controller working , hopefully soon 🤞🏻🛴💨 Thanks for the interest 😀

@@محمد-ش2ض5د hey u got me thinking at 5am so I decided to go try turn the motor around on my spare motor . Think I have it sussed now …..u don’t swap the bearings …u have to remove & swap the Axle around or it wont fit properly. so I’ll need to free up the silicone at the axle to pull the cable through & if I can’t just feed axle through the centre of the motor then I’ll need to cut & rewire . This will work if I don’t damaged anything 😀 👍🏼 I really want to test this properly so hopefully I’ll have it set up soon 🟣🔵🛴💨
