A lot of people seem confused as to when to do the trebble stitch. What i did was just alternate every other stitch (when on blue/yellow). I did 1 hdc, then 1 trebble, and so on. You can make it more speratic, but thats what i did.

It doesn’t look like she wrote any of the trebles in the written pattern but you can see she adds them randomly as she goes.

hi yes, exactly! you can change hdc to treble/triple crochet randomly, wherever you want. it's because the treble/triple crochet is only to make it looks like spikes

such a cute pattern but i’m having a lot of trouble with the written instructions since you indicate “x hdc” instead of “x hdc, x treble” so the spikes are kind of a surprise every time for me lol 🤔 just a suggestion for future videos 💕

hii, thank youu for your comment and suggestion, really appreciated it 🥰 so, I decided to write down the written instructions with only “x hdc” it’s because you can add spikes or change hdc with treble/triple crochet in any stitch you want. so, there’s no exact number or where st you should do treble/triple. you can do it anywhere as long as the number of stitches in every round is exactly the same as I wrote down in the written instructions. hope it helped, happy crocheting 💓💓
