The Kukke Subrahmanya Temple is a famous Hindu temple that is located in Karnataka, India. Lord Kartikeya, who is the lord of all serpents, is worshipped here as Lord Subrahmanya.
The Kukke Subrahmanya Temple is considered to be the abode of 'nagas', and pooja or prayer here is offered to Lord Subrahmanya, along with the serpent king Vasuki. Devotees also believe that the holy bath here in the Kumaradhara Thirtha and Madesnana eradicates dreaded diseases like leprosy. According to devotees, diseases related to the skin even get cured here. The temple is also considered to be the ultimate place to attain salvation for all those who are suffering from any kind of 'naga doshas'. This is the ideal place for Naga Dosha Pariharam (remedy), by performing Sarpa Samskara Pooja, Ashlesha Pooja and other such rituals. In fact, a lot of devotees from all across the country visit the temple for precisely this purpose.
Ensure that you follow all the rules that have been set up by the temple.
1.Note that devotees should not enter the temple without taking a bath and that they should not wear shirt, coats, caps or vests while entering the temple.
2. Devotees are not permitted to enter the temple with their footwear.
3. Mobile phones are prohibited inside the temple.
4. The annadaana (food) facility that is available at the temple is very popular and also excellent. Satvik meals are served for lunch from noon to 2:30 PM and for dinner from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
Kukke Subramanya is 280 kms from Bengaluru and 105 kms from Mangaluru (nearest airport). Subramanya Road railway station is 12 kms from Kukke Subramanya. Limited bus services are available to reach Kukke from Mangaluru or Bengaluru.
The Kukke Subrahmanya Temple is easily accessible by road from Mangalore, Bangalore, Mysore, etc. KSRTC operates buses on a daily basis between these places and the temple. There are also regular passenger train services from Mangalore and Bangalore to the temple, following which one can catch a local transport for a fifteen-minute journey to the temple, which costs approximately INR 20 per head.

Kukke subramanya temple 1. Highest earning temple of karnataka 2. Final destination of all naga dosha. Ppl from across countries used to do pooja here. This sarpasamskaar pooja is for 2-3 days. This has to be very strict. 3. This temple is 5000 years old temple. Snake king Vaasuki is staying here hiding from garuda. 4. To avoid poisonous smell from vasuki , they installed garuda bimba. 5. Just a few meter of kukke, vasuki's place is there & nobody is allowed to enter except main Archak & that too yearly once. Before that day, he shouldn't see his wife's face & visit home for almost 18 days. He visits there & gets mud from them & gives it as prasad. His diet has to be very strict. 6. Next to this temple, we have samputa narasimha temple which has powerful Narasimha saligram & which kept it in box. 7. This temple has subramanya mutt which is subsidiary of dvaitha madhwacharya's mutt. The brother of madhwacharya, vishnutheertha was doing pooja here & he is still invisibly meditating in the mountains behind this temple (kumara parvata) from 700 years. One of the place in this parvata is prohibited to enter for normal ppl . He told will visit when dvaita principle forgotten by ppl. 8. Kukke has adi subramanya & moola subramanya. One has to visit adi subramanya first. Before that they has to do bath in sharavati river. 9. Pooja is done according to madhwa vaishnava sampradayam. 10. Food is available for 3 times in a day. Morning breakfast is for those who has to do sarpa samskar/ ashesha bali ... 11. In kumara parvata, anybody can do trekking & is awesome. Except one place which is dangerous & prohibited. 12. When you take prasad from this temple, u should directly go to your house without any other place. There are so many mysterious stories around this temple & is one of the most sacred & highly crowded temple. You will lose all your problems just visiting this place. Rainy season - extreme rain will be there. Winter season - best Summer season - extreme heat like hyderabad. Plz don't throw plastic once u guys visit. Awesome temple in wonderful scenery place. 🙏🙏

Yes! You can take your daughter no issues. But do remember a son either he is single/ married should not perform Sarpasamskara pooja ( sit in pinda pradhana) if his father is alive. Instead of u n ur wife - ur father n mother will be performing this pooja That's the reason 2+2 are allowed for 1 ticket. Ur daughter will be sitting back of u people,so no issues. Sarpasamskara & pindapradhan pooja are one and same it's day-1 and day2 of same pooja. I have explained all rules and regulations of this pooja in my video please do follow it. Regarding ashleshabali pooja they did not tell us any such specific rules.But if you are too much specified Ashleshabali pooja on ashleshanakshatra day will be considered more precious. If possible try it. But temple like Kukke we can do on any day. It's not that manditory.

Hi Sai Krishna garu, In Ashleshabali pooja 3-4 priests will be sitting in a row. With different languages ( telugu language very rare. I could not find telugu priest) Just show your ticket he will be reading your gotranamas & ask you to take sankalpam Later you will be in your ashlesha bali pooja batch. Hi Krishna garu, Actually we perform ashlesha Bali pooja in main Temple. after ashlesha pooja we go for Darshan. Regarding sarpasamskara You do sarpasamskara in other mantapam nearby temple. And after your Day 1 sarpasamskara pooja you should not go to main temple/ old Temples to see God or do darshan. That's the reason I said you will be free from afternoon. ( For your information: Do remember that 1)As per Hindu darma, Pinda pradhana pooja which you do on day2 of sarpa samskara pooja --- should not be performed by a Man if his father is alive ( though you are married/ bachelor your father and mother will be performing this complete pooja behalf of you.)as you should not sit in pinda karekramam. ( Hope you got my point) 2) As we do dahana samskaram to human body, & we won't visit temple until we complete all our rituals. Similarly we won't go temple after performing sarpa- samskaram day 1 pooja. That's the reason after day2 pindapradham we go main temple for Darshan. Hope you understood clearly. If you still have doubts no issues. You can comment me all your questions. I will surely answer it.
