@Nicolas Zemmin if you hook a fish and that fish unspools your line to the point that you can see the surface of the spool with less than 10 yds left, you mind as well consider that line is done. Youre not getting that back.

I use a uni knot and just double the loop end. I can tighten the knot just by turning the spool counter clockwise.

Ideally that knot should be at bottom of the spool and not in the middle or top. If it rests at top or middle of the spool it might tangle the line while casting.

Arbor knot so simple, no need to complicate things and the knot on this one is going to be too big and your line won't cover it properly it will make one side of the spooled line bulge

I agree with you. This is one big ass knot. What I do is tie a few over hand knots, tape it down with electric tape and then spool on the line. I run braid to leader so this method works for me.

Кще толще узел нельзя было сделать?) лично я делаю маленькую петлю на начале лески и креплю на клипсе. После окончания намотки, аккуратно лезвием срезаю петлю от основной лески и убираю с клипсы.
