One never knows whom to thank for a rare Debabrata Biswas song. In the present case it seems this particular song was already in existence in a link owned by Abhimonyu Deb. It was recorded from AIR by Sri Deb's father in 1961-62. Interested people may refer to the contents of Sri Deb's comment in the recently uploaded Sukher Majhe Tomay Dekhechhi.

Mr. Abhmonyu Deb deserves full credit for uploading a huge collection of songs by various artists. His collection of live programs is amazing. I however received this song from Mr.Mehdi and I am thankful to him immensely.

The chance discovery of Sri Abhimonyu Deb's archive makes it possible to trace songs to the right sources and the original collector. But it is hard to believe that no one knew about this mine of treasure. As Sri Goutam Choudhury and some others have observed on other links, many of the 19 songs belonging to this personal archive are being sold in the market without the least acknowledgement to the original collector.
