Just the other day..while we were lining up to enter a bank..an old man was not allowed to enter the bank by the security guard for not wearing a mask and the man behind him ran to 7eleven and bought him a mask. The old wanted to pay him back but the guy said no. He said Kita jaga Kita uncle. I wanted to cry. It's true we do take care of each other in times of crisis. Kudos Malaysia! #kitajagakita

You should be proud bro to be a Malaysian! Right now Malaysia will enter to new phase from Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) to Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) until 10 June - 31 August. Now all Malaysian can go interstate or balik kampung meet the elders & many tourist sector have been reopen but the government still close international gateway & open domestic gateway. But Malaysia still need to get used to NEW NORM life like; 1) Always wearing mask 2) Keep yourself clean & always use hand sanitizer 3) Social distancing 1 meter 4) Avoid over crowded places Anyway to both for you & all family member at US stay safe, keep healthy. There is one major point I would like to add. During the MCO, EMCO and right until today, a lot of consideration and care was accorded to senior citizens ( age 60 and up) and those with special needs and their immediate caregivers. For example priority lanes are created for us ( I am a senior citizen) to access shops, supermarkets, post offices etc. Some supermarkets even opened up to an hour earlier just for us. We do not need to spend time in queues and can get our groceries, medication, etc etc very quickly snd then we go home. Now even barber shops opening tommorrow allocate the first two hours of business for senior citizens. I am so grateful for this care and consideration for senior citizens and those with special needs. And yes, of course, I am very proud to be Malaysian!

Generally we have adapted really well - from the strict, highly restrictive MCO enforced on 18 March, to the gradual loosening of the MCO. One reason may be the high adherence of Malaysians to the advice given by the authorities who, to their credit, have conveyed the do's and don'ts in a clear, concise, coherent manner. (Malaysians generally are scared stiff of dying, so we tend to abide by the health rules 😝). The next phase begins tomorrow 10 June and ends 31 August - the Recovery MCO. Many people are already planning to balik kampung inter-state, and a significant number have ready booked local holidays, esp. to the islands. The economic sectors are nearly fully functioning save for the entertainment premises like pubs, clubs, karaokes and health centres (read 'massage of the dubious type' 😋). This phase will be most critical to the eventual decision to completely lift the restrictions.

Government introduction 'new normal' that must be follow and I really proud to say this that everybody including mall and business do it. 22. In early March, after the new PM took over, Malaysia was the worst hit COVID-19 country in ASEAN, top 20 worst hit in the entire world. All these occurred due to incompetent previous administration and power struggle between Mahathir and Anwar Ibrahim. Yesterday we had 9 cases- 7 were local transmission. Today we had 7 cases - only 1 local transmission case. Only 1 local case for 34 million population. Around 34k testing are done every day for COVID-19(RTPCR and highly sensitive and specific test kits) . Our Health DG, Dr Noor Hisham, has said that we are not going to wait for vaccine to break the COVID-19 transmission, he is planning to wipe out COVID-19 in the country totally by end of August 2020 (second in the world after New Zealand.).

There are lots of smart, professional n educated Malay in Malaysia n those lots contributed immensely to Malaysia growth n prosperity over the years. The smart leader of Malaysia southern city state was an opportunist whose used the opportunities available in its neighbouring countries for its own growth by all means..legally or illegally. Creating ambiguous financial environment to reinvest, laundered n cleanse ill gotten wealth from those crooked politicians n corporate entities in the surrounding regions..sounds familiar? As another proud displaced Malaysian, I would suggest the best comparison is between Malaysia and California. Populations are similar in size although CA has a much healthier economy. Still compare the COVID numbers. Malaysia took this seriously right at the beginning and with 117 deaths it still takes it very seriously. CA has 4,653 death. Right now Malaysia has 6 patients in ICU with 1 requiring a ventilator. For a county with 31 million people. The real key is something not mentioned in the video - the combination of a population that values community over self, and a unified de-politicized response to the situation. The messaging was all about saving lives and reducing suffering. If you look up the news videos, you'll also see that Malaysia was really good to the foreigners who were trapped there to the extent that many simply chose to stay in preference to returning home because it was safer. Very proud that the country understood the situation and made the very best use of the resources it had.

Just to let our beautiful and wonderful Msian-American couple know, besides the free hotel stay for 2 weeks during the compulsory quarantine for the Malaysians returning from overseas, they were also entitled for a token "pocket money" of RM700 !!! I was quarantined in Kota Bharu,Kelantan returning from Thailand and besides the free hotel, food and beverages, as well as free Wi-Fi , I also gained an extra weight of 5 kilograms !!! Corvid19 swab testing and blood test were on the "house" too. Last but not least, the frontliners were were so committed and passionate in their job , that made our 14 days stay became so homely and we felt like being "pampered ". Thank you very much to all our heroes and heroines, our beloved frontliners.

Hye... i`m youtuber from Malaysia...Thanks for your great reaction,i`m proud of my country, leadership (King,PM,MINISTER,FRONTLINER).. i will give exactly summary from this 15 why Malaysian did it and still fight it; 15.Yes there are many organization not just from NGO but individual also help like public figure Ustaz Ebit Lew,give rice, food, money and a new house to rent . But they also have a limitation to move event though they have a formal letter from enforcement. 14.Top Doctor have appoint after new government and been there since lock-down ,everyday they give statistic and announcement also.. From minister (Majlis Keselamatan Negara) and prime minister they announced not only in tv also SOCIAL MEDIA . They do stage by stage, example for 14 day to another 14 days until today. 13.Every location, state by state, district by district or entire community who have positive IN THOSE AREA, military and police also volunteer RELA will keep eye in this location also block entire way in and out.Restrict to all movement from getting out own house, who not obey will be capture and put in the jail also got FINE RM1000. 12.Refer at 15th, they are limit volunteer from government servant , netizen also NGO because they can`t gathering more than 20. 11.Yes,that just only temporary hospital in case it get worst. This will be focus on covid patient. Example case, if you want get a birth in Main Hospital..You will divert to a hospital that did not handle covid case because this will be a risk to mom & newborn. 10. Event cluster tabligh have highest case, but this individual really obey and learn to calm also. Still have many cluster from foreign worker, back from oversea and many more to handle until they got negative results . 9.We got MORATORIUM from bank at least 6 month loan holiday( car, house, personal loan) but bank give it as option,if you don`t want it..you can disagree... 8.University student also have free food, basic need & accommodation after near a month stay at university because lockdown, this student were sent back home by free bus after that before Aidilfitri Eid. University and government also rent outsider bus, still have a few students leave at hostel. 7.Government also lets people withdraw money rm600 as KWSP (retired money),then give us money in this April and May, about RM1,600 for B40 income and RM1,000 M40 income. Not married teen got RM800, Ehailing also got rm400,register business also got RM3,000.Worker get RM1,200 from PERKESO.Free phone and internet 10gb for B40....1gb free data until this year... Drop down oil price to RM1.25 perliter revise per week......This are economy booster package...today we get free ewallet money RM50.00 . 6.Yes this certain politician have fighy together to get rid this virus first, but still got ignorant politician have a selfish when our King also said in parliament 'Kerajaan Beta" aka My Goverment but they still want to drop down this PM and minister. We as netizen really like this new government method help people very well and calm. 5. All this homeless were put at special location, government also give they a method to learn something skill..after this pandemic they got skill to get a job. Foreign worker were stay at construction side, their house but also got free meal n supply from NGO. 4.This cluster got a room for 14 days and 5 meals a day we call it Cluster Kayangan (ACT LIKE DIVA) not all but have 3,4 person who viral this accommodation because doesn`t have a room like hotel (double deck bed, no aircond, sharing toilet) but other got hotel room and do destruct that room and get captured by police. 3.Yes we need and do respect our frontliner, because their get a risk to be infected, leave their family, no leave in this moment, sweat alot in PPE. Because of that they got another risk salary from government . 2.More are come helping do it this to not only PPE..give free mask...free portable aircond,fan...give free food to our frontliner ...because we all know China are biggest supplier get infected and supply and demand so high. 1.Because we do it for we as Malaysian and obey to the government to save our country first...but we still fight until now event doesn`t have dead case yet. Today our PM also tell us new economy booster to industrial especially. may your country get well also #kitajagakita #deminegara #fightittogether 5\JUN\2020 pS;correct me if i`m wrong Malaysian

Now Malaysia is on RMCO (recovery movement control order) phase with almost all business are allowed to open again but with strict health protocol. Failed to follow the protocol the businesses will be ask to closed. And if there any places or locality show any spike of new cases the Enhance MCO will be implement on that particular places. The RMCO are staring tomorrow 10th of June til 31st of August which is our independence day, it will be a meaningful independence day to all Malaysian if we succeeded in curb the pandemic. Under any circumstances we will get together and overcome situations for our beloved country and the people, irrespective of race, even for foreigners which is stranded, we will always be there to help. This is more towards self understanding and attitude, that could get us to be one. We are blessed that 14 States of Malaysia are now already declared 90% as green zone and some areas are 100%... Honestly, politically, as a Malaysian ,i feel lucky that we had a political transition in March that saw Perikatan Nasional(PN) took over the Government from Pakatan Harapan(PH). If PH still govern Malaysia since March, we might lost our country now. PH is dysfunctional family with power struggle problem internally. They cannot work among themselves. and when we were screaming to PH to close the border in late January and early February, they did not close it and still let thousand of China nationals enter Malaysia for the sake of Chinese New Year holiday. and that was why the case were shoot up and higher numbers in the initial stage of this pandemic. The current ruling party(PN) now doing great job in cleaning the shit left by PH. oh btw, i voted PH last 2018 GE14 and i regretted and never felt so stupid in my whole entire life.
