Sambal itam has no kicap (soy sauce) in it.....its belimbing buloh (small belimbing, or bilimbi cucumber) cooked down until they turned black (not burnt), cili and other ingredients that make sambal...

Logesh, the fish serunding is best eaten with pulut or with ketupat daun palas. In Kedah we call it Pulut Sambal. You can also eat it with white bread or roti canai. Enjoy!
@BiehahNabihahАй бұрын
THIS!! I usually eat it with lepat loi (a Bugis traditional food) and we don't really have normal serunding growing up. Ahahaha

You should find hang tuah coffee,their coffee powder is the best..3in1 is also great,but their teh tarik is one off the best taste..they also make coffee in sachets,you can find with sugar or sugarless,easy to make a cup off coffee with it...

Hehe, on the opposite, the "must by" when i do my USA travel: a. Swiss Miss powdered dark chocolate drink. b. Walmart/Target/Heinz curry powder. c. Butterfinger. d. Payday peanut caramel. e. Snow donuts. f. Maple syrup. g. Maple candy. h. Trader's Joe maple coated walnut/peanut. i. Hostess twinkies. (a & b because of my gastritis issue, cannot take Malaysian style spicy curry powder & dark chocolate powdered drink not available here). - if you love teh tarik Masjid tea or 888 brand are good, but you need to boil them, add Coffeemate/evaporated milk, condensed milk beside fresh milk. For 3in1 tea, Lipton, Boh & Tabik Brand are the most tasty for me.

There is no soya source in sambal hitam. The main ingredient of sambal hitam is bilimbi where the bilimbi is boiled for few hours until it turned black. Birdeye pepper and pounded anchovis is also added to make sambal.

Logesh, stock up on the Panadol ACTIFAST. It legitimately takes effect so fast. Also, I like to bring Ikan asin and dried sotong back to the US. The salted fish is so good in fried rice or eaten with curry and the sotong is so good to make Chinese soups.
@staphaniehenny7462Ай бұрын
Ikan asin blh lepas kat kastam ke?
@aleenaweeАй бұрын
@@staphaniehenny7462Yes! Definitely still check the Customs and Border Protection site for list of allowable and prohibited food items, but seafood in general is allowed into the US. I usually declare everything and if they disallow something, I have to be ok that the food item may be taken away.

Ahh banyak nya food item korang bawa. When i came to saudi last march, I brought NOTHINGGG-no food items from malaysia. Because hubs said nahhh we don’t need those and because he was afraid we might exceed our baggage limit. So we just use whatever spices we found at the stores here. Next year when we go back to malaysia i’m gonna fill our bags with malaysian food items😂😂dah buat list dah pun dari sekarang.😂😂
