Yes Kumar tried hard to make the Sri Langkans laugh easily like his fellow Singaporeans who would laugh at almost every line of his type of jokes. Some of them fell flat to their ears !Those were the same jokes he cracked in Singapore and they enjoyed them and were laughing so much... probably Kumar needs to research what would make most of those wealthy and more cultured Sri Lankans to burst out laughing like in Singapore. Sometimes there were dry and silent moments during his comedy. The LADY interviewing some attendees was trying her best to get them to say Kumar was the best program for the day. He couldn't adjust to the crowd. They never came to see a comedian . They came to see a drama perhaps with some comedy ! There was definitely lack of audience appreciation ! Kumar was his usual self though !

It’s sad when a standup Comedian is unable to entertain the audience sufficiently. Humour has different levels. You need to know your audience. If you pitch wrongly, it is sad because you may just get sympathy laughters. Comedians don’t feel good about that.
