This is the perfect quick make, so hunt through your stash for a feature bead or two and grab a few cords!

Great idea! I was trying to figure out how you added the bead, until you explained the construction process (using the bead as the starting point---of course!) This looks like it would work well with 1mm leather, as well. The colors are beautiful, by the way.☺

Each time I try this technique my braid is wonky. I use a medium sized carnelian bead, two Tex 135 go through it and the rest of my cords are rat tail. Do you know why please ?

Deborah PEREZ - The way to combat wonkiness is to make sure you make the braid tight against the bead.
