Pradal Serey / Khun Khmer deserves more recognition , Myanmar Lethwei has expanded and aggressively promoted itself , but is also bareknuckle ( just tape & gauze ) and allows headbutts. Both countries have been wrecked by corrupt and despotic governments , what Pol Pot did to Cambodia was shocking ...he never really paid for his crimes !! Would be good to see more Khmer fighters fight in Myanmar under Lethwei rules.

Bird Kham is a very good fighter ... he uses tricks. But his tricks didn't work so well when fighting some Western fighters(he lost at least a few times). Keo Rumchong is different ... very physical and competitive. I like Rumchong's style.

you may have point but it was good fight all around and could have gone to Brazilian easily(my opinion), two energetic fighters with different backgrounds. I will watch some competitions in person this summer in Thailand but for sureIy will make my way to Cambodia to witness Khmer quality on my own. Definitely looking at all in person will be exciting and better judged then via glass screen. Will see...but I appreciate your comment. Your interest in the sport is great.

i hope you have a great trip in the region. hopefully in the next couple years, after some needed stabilization and progress from the horrendous kr genocide of the 70s, khmers will master their ancient ancestral warrior art and reclaim the sport from the siamese. i kinda do want to see a rematch between these two but at the same time, i don't. i'm still perplexed why these two are fighting each other in the first place due to the difference in size, there are bigger kun khmer fighters out there.

what i notice was the khmer fighter was a tad more defensive and his strikes was more precise. the brazilian was more aggressive and had appeared to delivered a number of more combos, but combos that didn't fully connect. what is strange is they are both in the 70 kg wt class? i do notice a size difference. could be me, but i think you are misinterpreting the brazilians aggression and combos to be the better the fighter. in the end, whose precise elbows strikes landed on the opponents face?

well taken answer. Khmer fighters will get better, that's for sure. Most Cambodia's population is young and energetic.(No one likes thai less viet...lol)must admit during studies in Europe I saw Killing Fields movie, after that Cambodia has been close to my heart. Being there one just can't go without reflecting on war's tragedy(Very person experience) How about Laos and what my country has done to it...omg...let's keep this chat on boxing instead...I still think idea is to see fights in person

Cut on forehead is not danger to the fighter and blood do not drip into the eyes the ref. should not stop the fight but if they let it continue they know for sure Rumchong would lose the fight and this is how Cambodian cheated I'd watch Thai fighters go to Cambodia fight that they would of won but lose shame shame

Brazil coach should place a bandage on him to stop bleeding and continue to fight. So cheap to fight in Cambodia for !,000,000 riels equal to $225 for the winner. I don't like Cambodia announcers. They need to go to school and learn how to say for boxing competition. They say as we see with our own eye. If you listen to American boxing announcer, it is completely different. Plus, these Khmer announcers side with Khmer boxer. You should not side with your own country. Don't scream.
