The whole premise of the fight was that the assassin brought a box of iron in addition to his body's reserves; he was cheating. Saria deciding to use a braindead strategy like tanking that much metal mass with what little she had in the art is stupid. That's not how physics or the force equation works. Saria essentially did the equivalent of bashing her skull against a much larger iron pillar, breaking said pillar, and somehow not breaking herself at all. Literally plot armor.
