Vegetarians has too many option but due to Mughal influence most restaurants became nonveg and reflection of that we can see in home cooking too but for vegetarians and vegans India is heaven . Unlike west vegan food is cheap as fuck in India. Dal roti sabzi , idli dosa, sambhar chutney , and so so many food....

As a vegan from middle class family, i can say that a lot of indian food is vegan and easily affordable. I just had to remove milk products from my diet. Infact, we don't even realise how often we eat vegan food be it staple (dal-subzi-roti-rice) to cuisine (idli, dosa, chhole bhature and more). All we have to do is to be aware and kind🌱
