Bake it in cooker or kadhai...(cover the kadhai / close the cooker after removing the whistle and gasket )heat both for 15 mins .by that time prepare ur batter.pour it in the mould .put it inside the kadhai or cooker and put it in low to medium.flame . Dont check for 20.mins .after that check using knife or tooth pick and cook for more 10mins or mins as per requirement.

@@shardawadhwani940 i always make eggless sponge so for one pound cake. I use 120grm curd and 80grm powdered sugar or 200 grm condensed milk,1tsp baking Powder and 1/2tsp baking soda.I use this measurement for both vanilla and choc sponge and red velvet is no diff just red colour is added

I have tried this recipe its awesome and even I didn't use sugar syrup.. I feel no need cake was super moist and yummy yes but I add little bit more sugar coz my kids love little more sweet . And cheese cake you can layer in between I layer it with cheesecake by bold baker gemma .

Well. Recipe sounds all good to me except 1 point. 2tbsp of cocoa powder in approximately 1.25 cup of flour is too much for red velvet cake. I think 1 tbsp of cocoa powder would be good enough with 1.25 cups of flour. Please review once.
