Ingredients:
Basmati rice (soaked) - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Turmeric - ½ tsp
For Dum:
Ghee - 3tbsp
Cinnamon - 1small stick
Cardamom - 5nos
Black cardamom - 1no
Cloves - 4no
Coconut (dry, sliced) - a handful
Raisins - handful
Dates (sliced) - a handful
Almond (chopped) - a handful
Cashew nut (chopped) - a handful
Pista (chopped) - a handful
Milk - 1cup
Saffron - a pinch
Sugar - 1cup
Rosewater - 2tbsp
Kewra water - 1 tbsp

It's lovely.. My childhood memories.. At our village some people don't use dry fruits as they r expensive for them but they use ground nuts , gur and coconut.. And that was awesome unforgettable taste.. Thanks chef for sharing this recipe.

Today I made ur recepie nd it get osm. Before mine my mother in low made this meethe chawal nd another sweet dishes. But now she is no more. We miss her all sweet dishes. Meetha Bhaath is famous in Himachal Pradesh.. which is served in dhaam (Reception) or any function... it's delicious... full of ghee, dry fruits and lots of aroma which attracts the people to have it once and then again and again... loved it...

Hi there, today first time I have seen your video and tried the recipe , kinda love it! I my kitchen I always try to cook new, with minimum waste. Therefore, my question is regarding that turmeric water, when rice will be 80% cooked then do we need to throw the water? Is there any use of that water? Kindly, in your videos, especially in tips and tricks let us know how to reduce the kitchen waste.

lovely recipe, I have always preferred the yellow colored rice over the orangey color. Good idea to use a dash of turmeric instead of the fake coloring.

Hi kunal sir , wish u vvry happy baisakhi. Sir today i made mithe chawal followed by u it turned simply ausome👌👌.i wish i could taste uhh nd here ur valuable commets. Before dat i mess all tym mitha chawal. I used gud insted of suger. Thanku soo much sir😊🙏🏻🙏🏻👍
