Update: I'm here in the UK working for the NHS, 4mos palang kami nasa top band 5 na yung sahod namin. 31,500 it's because they recently started to recognize our international experience sa Pinas. What a great news, right!!

Hi nurse Even. Currently working at one of the top hospitals here in Riyadh, KSA. Kami po dito 49 Annual Leave, 42 of which you can use as vacation leave. Free ticket po and you can go for vacation every 6 months. If you will not be able to use all those 49 AL’s, maiipon sya and convertible to cash until to end your contract 😁

Hi I am a new fan of yours. I am not a nurse here in the uk but I know a lot especially here in London but even myself was wondering why few filipino nurses leave uk for the USA and I thought what’s wrong here, it kind made me a little bit upset because although- like what I said to you I am not a nurse or have I ever worked for the nhs but I have been brought up here & been living in london for quite some time & i for one so happy to see filipino nurses working in hospitals when I go for my check ups & so proud of them. But then when I heard some were not happy to live here in the uk & I was like what a bummer. First off the weather is always not great here but I know uk is not bad especially when it comes to helping people from so many backgrounds. From giving so much benefits not just for nhs but for ordinary people like me. If you are working less hours or unemployed you could get help from the government they call it job seekers allowance . There are so much more from housing benefits to free hospitalisations or to freedom pass- for tubes & busses. They always try to help people no matter what. But hey at the end of the day every one is different & we have freedom to choose what we like to have for dinner innit 😂 but I am so glad you are spreading the positive side of staying & living in this country & of course I love your positive vibes. You are as sweet as honey babe. Keep up the good work!! Love you. 😉

Isang taon napo ako sa UK will be my 2nd yr this dec. po ang sarap nga po lumipat ng nursing dahil sa NHS benefits, I can attest po kasi nakikita ko po talaga through sa nanay ko however thankful naman padin kasi nakahanap ng work na related sa nagraduatan kong course sa pinas. For those pala na nakatapos ng Architecture/ engineering/ interior design course sa pinas pedeng work na mahanap nyo dito(UK) is Architectural assistant or CAD draftsman just prepare lang talaga yung portfolio nyo, ayusin lang yung interview and PRAY talaga.

100% true ang 7 reasons. Same tayo ako from elderly/frailty ward to paediatric ward to endoscopy unit. End of feb nag 2 weeks annual leave ako tapos nagka covid so 3 weeks total di pumasok. With pay. Haha. Pagaling nurse even.

In the US, RN can make up to six figure salary. Kaya Lang ang cost of living mataas din. Four weeks average paid leave plus other holidays , PTO etc.

Naabutan ko yung yearly salary increase tapos wala pang tax 😅 naging eye opener sakin yung time na yung mga nurse supervisors namin na 60yrs old na, working with MOH for 20 25 yrs, pinauwi na dahil retirement age.. Parang anglungkot bigla. Anong gagawin nla sa pinas, angtagal nla nagwork pero ganun lang din, nung matanda na pinauwi na lang.. Parang hindi yun yung pangarap kong retirement.. Kaya ngayon kakapasa ko lang ng OET, road to UK and better retirement na ako ❤️

My daughter is a registered nurse in the Philippines but here in Australia, it's not credited any professions you've finished in the Philippines.Need to study here before you can apply for the work as nurse,engineer doctor and other professions.
