Every solidity training should be supervise and taught by your master, sifu or instructor. Keep in mind that these are long term training and should not be performed if your instructor didn't show you how to properly do it.
The use of Dit Da Jow (Anti-Bruise Lotion) or Iron Palm Lotion are essential to help the body heal from the strikes and the tough time you are putting it through. Ask your instructor or your sifu for it.
