There was a kung fu master 2 (kind of). Kung-Fu Master was called Spartan X in Japan, there was a Spartan X 2 that came out in Japan only in 1991.

Le jeu est à l'état de prototype, c'est d'ailleurs probablement une version debug pour tester la cohérence du level design.

So why don't whomever made this dump it over to MAME already. Its not like its ever going to be finished anyhow too late to release it over on a arcade machine cabinet since theres no more arcades or very few. The game itself is like over 30 years old. So why not just create a ROM for MAME and this is how it can get the credit it deserves. Like damn it looks awesome for a prototype. Id love to try it.

Why hasn't this been submitted to MAME team yet for preservation? 🤔 This should have been submitted else the rom chips will eventually fail, if that happens it will be lost forever.... The whole point of "Arcade game preservation" and "MAME" it was never intended to be for profit, or greed. It was done for free, and for future preservation of old arcade hardware. Have a backbone for goodness sake and do the right thing....submit the roms to the MAME team...🤨

given that it uses the Discrete Sound technology that allows for some unique drum sounds in games like Horizon and Kid Niki, i'm sure this would've been made between 1985 (when Horizon was made) and 1986 (when Kid Niki was made)

It didn't do well in test markets so they didnt release. Because of the success of double dragon the developers thought it would be better using a western setting and using an American hero as a protagonist instead of an Japanese character. Vigilante ended up as a spiritual sequel.
