@@MaximusRTtheDog the 3rd one was quite a bit better than this underwhelming cash grab, at least it had the furious five and it had a slightly better villain. this movie is okay its themes are just weak its pacing is awful and its new characters are just kind of shallow and theres some weird plotholes like shen being there or Kai also being there, not to mention all the random villains that somehow know kung fu that are just there to be forms for the chameleon. the movie is good at being the funny panda kung fu action movie but it fails to compare to the first 3 films.

Because she wanted the people to respect her through fear, so it's understandable why she only picked villains to transform herself, because they were feared when they were alive and now she can use the fear from those villains to her own plans.

The Chameleon is a great villain, but most people don't get it because only make a superficial analysis of the character and see her a a generic villain. Right from the start, we see that the Chameleon is a psychopath, manipulative, cruel, narcisistic and greedy villain who only cares about herself and gaining more power by using others to her will, thus earning names like the Lizard of Lies or the Empress of Deception. When we figured out how the Chameleon behaves during the movie, it's easy to see why the story she tells about being kicked off the Kung Fu schools by her size is a complete lie, because we know that there are students like Po and Mantis who did made great Kung Fu masters, but the Chameleon was already showing a greedy and psychopatic size that showed that she only cared about what she could achieve with the skills in Kung Fu and not by the martial art teaching itself, so nobody wanted to teach her. Other thing she does in the movie is corrupting the very nature of Kung Fu by mixture it with sorcery and witchcraft to achieve even more power and to that end, she dares to disturbe the Spirit Realm to steal the chi power of dead Masters to empower herself. Also, the fact that the Chameleon was aiming to join with crime bosses in order to get tributes and that she didn't saved Zhen from a life of thievery and only used her and her thief skills to her own ends, shows that she would never be a good Kung Master and a good mentor.

the first time i saw this, i was like: hmm, like it's okay, idk why people hate it but when i rewatch this i already understand why: shifu is a douche, main antagonist is absolute dogwater, previous villains were treated dirty

You should definitely think about watching Paddington 2 as well. I forgot about that one plus Woody, woodpecker and woody woodpecker goes to camp as well. Plus, maybe the book of Pooh stories from the heart I know that’s another good one along with a couple of the other Winnie movies along with the original one the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh and tigger tooo plus Ozzy and Oogie love and the big balloon adventure as well plus Octonauts the cave rescue one

And I do that there was another one in the Grett bar reef that was cool too plus Megamind and over the hedge unless you already watch those two, then you gotta see which ones you have watched like a rewatch of your movies but if you haven’t seen those two, then I think those are the last two and the other ones I’ve mentioned as well even if I haven’t mentioned a lot of them like I did in the first comment

I liked this movie but they did the best villain so dirty. Lord Shen didn’t say a single thing and his entire character was demolished just because. They did Tai Lung at least a dialogue, some fighting scenes and a redemtion, Shen and Kai were done dirty and it’s so disrespectful. If you don’t want to give this movie the budget it deserves and needs then don’t make this movie if it isn’t really needed (literaly one of the three best DW franchises and they don’t put the money in it or at least some respect).

For everybody to understand that the reason why the chameleon was rejected to any kung fu classes is not because of her size, it's because she is a chameleon. Most of us view chameleons as week and defenseless creatures kinda like the same way as pandas so that's why the chameleon takes away every kung fu masters fighting skills and powers, so that she becomes into something more powerful than ever.
