I take that back. *Edit Update 2:* After hearing the negative reception of Kung Fu Panda 4, nevermind.

I wonder if any potential possession was taken into account in the series before?* Remember that Po had more then just being in films, he had a Nickelodeon show too (Which is said to take place AFTER KP2. The Intro SLAPS BTW, you guys need to check it out if you have not yet done so): The most notable I remember was one episode where Po encountered a magic parallel mirror artifact (I think?) that duplicated Po with EVIL Po, turns out Evil Po's power is such that he one-shot the entirety of the cast when not a shred of good is in him... Oh and some surprisingly OP Za Warudo seeds were in the show too. But anyways, the whole spiritual torturing shouldn't be a problem with all the mastery Po has... Right? Or maybe: Shen IS his greatest adversary, more deviously cuinning then one would have thought. In this it's unknown how, but Shen turns out to have had *one last Paranormal trick up his sleeve* + with all the unbridled willpower of hatred fuelling him, he lives on if not MATCHED Po in a very unorthodox yet potent way. It would now take more unprecedented means to fully eliminate the now dubbed "Bloody Shen".

This might just be your most unnerving video for one reason. Now Po knows every single time he sleeps, he will feel the most unimaginable pain, but not physical pain, just mental, driving him insane. This could be one of two things. Either Po can't let go and created it as a sort of coping mechanism, or this is Shen's last attempt to deteriorate Po's mental health and somehow snuck into his dreams. Great job, VibingLeaf!

Lord Shen is absolutely the most horrific and psychologically terrifying villain in the Kung Fu Panda trilogy. Of course, it's a trilogy targeted towards a younger audience, but that doesn't stop him from being remarkably deep given the context.

He lost the privilege of having his own name but he still remembered what he done and relished in it, even in death he still wanted to keep terrorizing and continue scaring that fat panda. In his hateful determination he dug his way out of the 18 hells (Diyu) with only one goal. Making sure that fat panda never feels at peace in life or death. A battle between a sleeping dragon and demon, who will come out on top, will the dragon find true inner peace or will the demon torment this dragon for eternity? It's an interesting concept that could perhaps be used for a comic. one where Po is tormented by "Visions" of Shen, causing him to have nightmares about the turkey and he comes to mock him and says "did you really achieve inner Peace?... or, deep down, are there still dens?" something else?", causing Po to have problems with himself and come to question what he has done. but with the help of advice from his Friends and Teacher, he managed to dominate his "Nightmares" and Shen stopped being a problem. It is a very interesting concept and it seems to me that it could be exploited in a good way.

as much as this is a such a great concept a few people in the comments kinda killed it for me, after just finishing all of the 3 Panda movies, Po had already passed through the whole nightmarish memory. the inner peace moment was one of the greatest things to come from the sequel, i don’t agree that Lord Shen would be stuck in Po’s head until he dies since he already learned peace within himself, especially in the third movie which i think a better choice would’ve been for Li Shan, dude never forgot what happened and didn’t get the chance to learn inner peace UNTIL his son came back to his life. Kung Fu Panda 3 had the perfect ending to teach everyone what he learned and went through, overall great video my man, cannot wait for the 4th movie

Lord Shen is a reminder that it doesn't have to rely on how much you weakened your opponent, but relies on how much you emotionally scars your opponent. Physical damage can heal but emotional damage is a trauma that stays on your mind.
