Great video! Thank you. How much battery power did you bring?
@BrianWithoutBorders2 ай бұрын
@@sunesnigel Thanks! I brought only a 10k mAh power bank. Since there was limited internet I stayed on Airplane mode 99% of the time & conserved battery when possible.

Thank you for a great video! And I believe, one of the most recent of the Kungsleden :) May I ask, how did you resupply if the shops didn't have much food as you mentioned?
@BrianWithoutBorders3 ай бұрын
@@medeinabirgilaite1122 About every other STF hut had a shop for resupplying. However, I actually started with a 22kg backpack that had most of the food I needed for the entire trail. For comfort I purchased about 2-3 days of food along the way (e.g. The ICA supermarket)...but I could have stretched my initial food supply to cover the entire trail if needed.

The STF huts have plenty of food. You can fully rely on them for all your food unless you have dietary restrictions or want to save a bit of money.

ICA is NOT norwegian, it's Swedish. And the rest of the world uses METRIC. It's not a "Swedish mile" it's a KILOMETER!
@BrianWithoutBorders3 ай бұрын
@@gislemark79 thanks for the clarification. Now I'm wondering why there was a Norwegian flag outside the ICA 🤔. One of the local Swedes described Kungsleden as 45 Swedish Miles in length, which equaled 450 kms. This was repeated by other Swedes along the trail.
@gislemark793 ай бұрын
@@BrianWithoutBorders I know notrhing about the flag. But ICA does not exist in Norway. In Sweden we call 10km a MIL but it's not a MILE.

@@gislemark79 it's called a Scandinavian mile in english.

@@BrianWithoutBorders i think you're correct about the mile despite it's spelled differently.
