My top 5 all time favorite maps at the moment (not counting the one I'm going to mention at the end) are: 1.Vae Victis 2. Mori: Rebirth 3. Westland 4. Waterpark Zombies 5. Dead High But my all time favorite isn't even out yet, and it's "Isle of Cthulu". Beautiful map, insane EE, 3 bad ass boss fights, a plethora of mini bosses, loads of custom weapons and wonder weapons, the fact that you can literally play as a Panzer and a Tank! And much more. Best custom map I've ever played by far! Can't wait to see that one on the next list!

However Dobby and xela are very well known and trusted coders who are working for Mrtlexify and are constantly streaming their progress so they are far different than Danny. @@arn0000 he's basically avoiding everyone, he makes a map, then gets people to support him with money, and he disappears with no little information on the map or when people can play it, that's what's going on with the Tranzit Remake from him, plus he apparently just completely ripped off assets from the actual Tranzit map and some of the textures were just unfinished and some sounds effects were ripped straight from other games.

Finally, I got my PC upgraded to be able to handle the BO3 Mod tools. I have been working on mapping for 2 weeks now, and I am going to keep at it. I love the zombies community, and I can't wait to someday give back to the community. To anyone wanting to start mapping, the tools are actually pretty simple when you get the hang of it. If you want to map, go for it, don't be discouraged, and don't be afraid to give it a try.

I see alot of people praising water park zombies. Its a decent map, but that’s it decent. Im not even saying this for whatever tf danny did, I just find it incredibly obnoxious to actually play and setup: 1. Doors are stupid expensive, shit makes zetsubou look cheap. 2. if you dont find the parts to PAP early you’re as good as dead on the 1st crab or alien brute encounter 3. the map isnt designed to accommodate maneuvering around the brute’s laser whatsoever 4. the parts for everything blend so well into the maps textures, that it gets annoying to find everything even when you’ve memorised all the locations 5. The EE steps are just tedious and annoying, especially the one where you get the melee kills challenge from neil, and for some reason, instakills just dont spawn? Ive literally lost like 3 Runs because of this exact issue, waiting 10+ rounds for an instakill that never arrives 6. Having PAP be delayed by a couple of rounds after every use of the teleporter is stupid as shit when you realise teleporting multiple times is integral to the easter egg. All it does is pad out the length of the game for no reason, making it all the more frustrating 7. The map’s layout itself isnt very interesting. Its a nice blend of spaceland and splash from the looks department, I’ll give it that, but actually maneuvering across the map is just annoying most of the time because everything looks samey

I feel like 2024 has been a relatively slow year so far in terms of custom map releases. Don't get me wrong there's been some good maps but there hasn't really been that leviathan/rainy death type map. Honestly the Minecraft map that Scriptwo released may be the most impressive so far in terms of easter egg and creativity at least. If you haven't played it I highly recommend it

But people forget that these guys are adult humans that have bills just like the rest of us. Dannyy is one guy, making a map of that scale takes A LOT of time. A lot of these guys making these maps have other jobs, yet still find the time to make these maps. You literally don’t have to pay to support the map maker if you don’t want to. That’s why they’re called “donations”…..and believe it or not, some of these guys making these maps don’t want to publicly release an unfinished, unoptimized, unpolished map. A lot of these better map makers are doing this for résumés as well as the love for the mode. Give them the credit they deserve, just because everyone isn’t a noob map maker releasing unfinished trash on the workshop shouldn’t take away from the ones that know what they’re doing and want to perfect their art and their creations. Some people will bitch and tear down other people over the smallest shit that they don’t even understand.

Some maps I get donating to; modders deserve SOMETHING for their work. But remaking maps that were already previously made by the company who owns everything you use all the way up to and including the mod tools application itself, I find it a little ridiculous to ask for any sort of payment. The creative process is hardly there because there was seldom any thought put into making something truly original.

Alexandria was a good map but i just didnt like how it wasnt finished with eastereggs. I tried doing the easteregg but without guides i wasnt sure if i was trying to do half unfinished eastereggs, so i didnt play it much. With so many options and maps i want to try and beat, i dont want to be wasting time. So i went for high rounds once, paped all the weapons, and uninstalled it. I also didnt like how certain weapons like daryls crossbow wasnt finished. Was really disappointed that the map was half baked becuz it could have been so good

Patron early access is so fucking stupid. I never once considered profiting off of any of my Halo CE maps or Custom Zombies maps. For one Cod Zombies isn't mine no matter how many textures or models i buy or how much i rescript anything. Two custom mapping has always been a hobby and should be treated as such, a load of custom mappers have actually been employed by game development studios and 3d modeling companies.

There's gotta be a easier way to make bo3 zombies maps.. the current way is fine until you have to set up doors and nodes and zones and spawning then all those countless hours goes to shit even though you follow all the steps and tried again time after time. And dont get me started on importing customers models.. its all ass but why. Why hasn't anyone looked at this process and thought this is gea. Why don't we have a modern tool that does all that complicated crap for you
