hispaalus from the moach is good. if we feel it more deeply and cry out spontaneously from a deeper place, than it's more real. Even natural feelings, knowing that Hashem provides physical needs, and the arousal from this, is good. the Mittle Rebbe is going to teach how to know which is which and reach the proper path, as He feels is His responsibility as He was trained from His youth and is very familiar what holds the smallest and the greatest from plugging into their yeshiva. bc the Rebbe can't speak to everyone face to face, this sefer was written (like Tanya) Different issues prevent the populous from reaching the emes.

Bitul vs simcha (personal feelings). pushing away feelings was never taught by the Mittle Rebbe, it's a mistake bc of the teachers lack proper knowledge who think arousal of heart is from false paths,.when thats only when it's fake arousal just to push away intrusive thought etc. how do we know when it's not false or self serving feeeling? when it's from contemplating chassidus it's real. don't exchange light for darkness just bc at one time, the feeling.was darkness and not emes. we should yearn to cleave to Hashem. it's a taste of moshiach. it's the main mitzvah of ahavas Hashem and it's when He dwells in us.
