Saluti dall'Italia!!!
We have the Nissan in USA. We do not have Hiace in USA. Here, the Nissan comes in a tall version with 2.5 foot roof extension. It doesn't add to the esthetic but you can stand up in the vehicle. That may be helpful for more storage space. I think the placement of the fuel filler is BRILLIANT. Give that designer a raise!!! No more fuel theft! BIG problem here in USA. When price of fuel goes up, kids come out at night and siphon fuel out of everyone's gas tanks. With the door closed and locked on the Nissan, it is not possible! Lastly, in USA we only have large sprinter vans available for camping and they cost 125000.00 to 150000.00. That's WAY TOO MUCH for a camper for an average worker or young Adult. Nissan costs 25000.00 as a fleet vehicle. 30k as a personal vehicle and I would assume 40 to 45 with all the camping set up, unless you did that yourself. It would be nice to be able to do "van life" without spending 2 years salary to buy a big van. This little Nissan could do it just fine. Now, I have to poke around and try to find if someone is building them in USA!!! Thanks for 1/2 of a review...anticipating part 2 with ants in the pants! 😅
