Der Kurdirektor von Horn-Bad Meinberg und Geschäftsführer der GesUndTourismus GmbH, Thorsten Brandt, besuchte den Yoga Vidya Ashram in Bad Meinberg anlässlich des World Yoga Summits 2023. In einem Interview teilte er seinen Eindruck über die Rolle von Yoga Vidya für die Stadt Horn-Bad Meinberg.
Der erste World Yoga Summit fand vom 18. bis 23. Juni 2023 im Yoga Vidya Ashram in Bad Meinberg statt. Internationale Yoga-Meister*innen leiteten anlässlich des Weltyogatages Yogastunden, Workshops, Podiumsdiskussionen und Meditationen an. Umrahmt wurde das Programm von Konzerten, indischem Tanz und vielem mehr.
