How will I know the stem? Is that just something I will have to learn for all the verbs or are there "rules"?

For present tense there are not any rules :((

You say to use nI instead of nA, but don't explain why. You say, ez diBnim for diTin, but you don't explain why.....

There aren't any rules for these two that use ni- , it's an exception. She says the stem for present is not really regular so -bîn- is the stem for dîtin.

Thank you for these videos, I work with kids in a regional school in Australia, with lots of Yezidi refugees from Shingal, from the war. I've been using these videos to try to learn some of their languages to connect, as well as to help with basic math, etc.
