Kurn's Classic Guide to the Shadowforge Key (BRD)

Franclorn does not give a quest, only dialogue. Who should give the second quest? Nothing falls out of Fineous, the key does not lie in the statue.

What's the addon you used to target Finneous? /tar fin does nothing for me.

No addon needed, that's just the base targeting function in the game. Try /target fineous if /tar fin doesn't work. You also need to be close enough to him to be able to target him. If you're not at the spot I show in the video, you may not be able to see him yet as he may not have rendered. You might also have to get closer if you have a lower-end computer or graphics card. Also note that his name is Fineous, not Finneous, so be sure to only type /tar fin and not /tar finn! :)

So once you get the quest from the ghost, you go kill Fineous Darkvire and then come back towards the garrison. Instead of going through the upper part of the Ring of the Law again, just keep going straight. There's a statue at the end of that hallway that you can turn your quest in to and it'll give you the key. :)

Get the quest as a ghost under the Summoning stone, inside kill one mob then come back a little and place the item on a statue. Now I know because i scrolled.

Minor changes? Try an almost completely DIFFERENT game. You don't write a guide for classic WoW with a retail client, that's either a bad or a dumb idea, pick one. Next time, use one of the vanilla private servers, or the actual classic one since it's out.

The changes are quite minor. The geography is identical. I explain how to get the quest, which hasn't changed. I explain how to obtain the quest item, which is identical. I then show you where you would come back to turn in the quest. The major differences have to do with the number of mobs and that you don't actually see me loot the quest item or turn it in. I'm sorry if you didn't find it helpful. Is there something specific you found was glaringly different? I'd love to know more, since my main toon hasn't hit a high enough level to go to BRD on classic as of yet. Thanks!
