This is why falcom is a great company. They turn the unpolished gem singa into a god. 10/10

Granted, not the best in Falcom's extensive catalogue, but it does say something that the music still seems to stand with the likes of Dark to Light (Phantasy Star Online 2), and that's no easy feat, mind! Besides, even if it does seem bad, that just makes the inevitable (and it WILL happen if it's the start of a major arc) Super Arrange/Evolution mix all the more hype (or a cover by GaMetal, since he did wonders with Gin no Ishi)!
better than no end no world, but worse than his other OPs. very funny how he peaked with his first song (seize the day). wish whoever is doing the background vocals in the chorus was allowed to sing because the sasucky cannot lmao. also why is this fucking 7 minutes long lmao

No End No World is my favorite Trails OP ;-;

Imo this is his second best opening that he made after CS4

Normally I have a weak spot for the Opening theme playing in this kind of context. I think a different vocalist could make it at least sound less grating but as is, unfortunately I don't care for this one. This one's close to the bottom far as Kiseki OP's go. No rap's a small consolation at least.

I know I shouldn't expect much from Falcom nowadays but just taking the OP and using it as a final boss theme is kinda lame

Why are comments always littered with pessimism like yours? This fanbase really can be too much.
@Docaccino3 жыл бұрын
Not gonna disagree with you calling me a pessimist but Falcom really hasn't done much in recent years to make me feel otherwise. Don't mind the comments of a few people if you enjoy their music output though
@ony8063 жыл бұрын
I could see it being a cop out, but come on they literally have a unique theme for the final boss for the first phase, then it switches to this when the situation demands. It's actually a creative decision this time around and not cutting corners like in CS4
@Docaccino3 жыл бұрын
it wasn't a terrible idea to use the OP as a final boss theme on falcom's part since it's an easy way to generate hype but a song that uses the OP as a motif, like the 3rd's final boss would've been a much more elegant approach imo. not to mention i'm just not too fond of vocal songs in the first place
@ony8063 жыл бұрын
@@Docaccino There are other ways of doing it, but I think that considering the scene from which you transition into the final phase, the more "in your face" approach Falcom went with was more fitting. Something I personally found cool while playing it is that they're using the full version of the song, which wasn't even included in the ost mini, so the only way of hearing the other half of the song as of now is to get to the final boss. Personally the realization during the fight made for a pretty cool memory.

Right there with Beyond the Journey for the worst Kiseki OP. I'm undecided on which is truely the bottom tier tho Edit: Naw this is a little better than BtJ. That one is legit draining

@@TheJbrown60 Can't please everyone =w=' Singa is definitely one of those "love it or hate it". Me personally, I don't really care for Beyond the Journey, to me it doesn't really have that OOMPH. But for some reason, this one hits me with that OOMPH I'm looking for. This is just me though. I will say, I get the dislike for Singa's work, he's clearly not the best. But he's learning. Ain't that enough?
