Easily one of my favorite songs ever made, and my absolute favorite Menu Theme. It's is still insane to think that this was composed by someone who joined 2 years prior. It's just so magical, melancholic and somber, yet gentle and full of hope. This truly deserves to be the theme of Van.

This track sounds to sad, yet gentle at the same time (especially at 1:10 onwards) like you're having to comfort someone during the worst experience of their life. Literally whenever this came on in the game long enough to get to that part, I'd just cry.

Dude the title screen for the finale after you reach the final dungeon that has the silhouettes of all your party members standing on the outer rim of Genesis Tower while this theme plays in the background is peak gives me goosebumps just remembering it

This is unironically one of my favorite entries in Trails. From the moment you start the game it feels different but still familiar to what we have been accustomed to. The overall tone is more mature and gritty but it makes those lighthearted moments hit so much more. I love this cast way too much. Can’t wait for more Kuro games in English! I really wouldn’t mind this saga having 3+ games.

I'm still going through the game but Daybreak is quite probably my favorite entry since Azure, and very easily my favorite first entry for an arc so far (which all tend to be weaker installments). The more mature tone, far more interesting protagonist and stronger focus on fewer characters is something the series sorely needed after Cold Steel.

Usage in-game reminds me of Tsukihime's menu theme. -(also I can't help saying this, how does the soundtrack of a doujin 45-hour visual novel released in 2000 that has barely 10 tracks with no battle themes, be more cohesive than the soundtrack of a 100-hour RPG that happens to be the 11th game in an established franchise released in 2021 with about 10 battle themes???)-

I think I will never not hear the resemblance to the ISLAND OST by Anze Hijiri. I really love this track and its overall slightly bittersweet feel.
