2:07 OMG the dolphin noise into Raging Rush.

Cool time signatures in this one, I like how it changes between 4, 5 and 6, without feeling disjoined. Still probably prefer the original by a bit though.

This is probably the most interesting song that Singa ever did just due to how absolutely insane it is.

Uuuuh, quite like this one, the live, more prominent guitar really adds a lot. Also enjoy the extra techno vibe it gives.

This one has a very nice melody and guitar riff section, like it!

someone needs to make an edit where the part at 2:07 just straight up transitions into raging rush lmao

Despite the issues that I have with some techno bits, it's my favorite of album. Sekiguchi solo made me kneel so hard

(MILD SPOILER ALERT for KURO II) Think this is played during Nemeth Island's Enforcer Boss Fight. To be honest I feel the spoiler warning itself is a spoiler in itself since how else is this piece gonna be used?

"Original Composer, Arrangement, Mixing & Recording: Mitsuo Singa" yeah, that about describes it
@tescoshortage12 күн бұрын
There are two types of Singa compositions. You have the 8-9/10 bangers like Iclucian Dance, A-to-Z, Hope Alive and Norse Wind, and you have the total clusterfuck messes like Flash Your Fighting Spirit and numerous Kai no Kiseki mid-boss and boss themes. This arrangement is somehow both and I absolutely fucking love it.

I don't have blind hate for singha (I like about 2/3rds of his work) but I don't like this one very much. It's like he starts to make a good melody and then dumps it to suddenly insert another. Sounds like a musician's stinger track portfolio than a cohesive song.

And to end the album, we have a track that...I'm sadly not a fan of (granted, I didn't the think the original was anything special). Like with Unmitigated Evil, I don't think the violin works all that well here, and I've already mentioned how I don't care for the drums. All in all, definitely the weakest Super Album I've heard so far, but given how great the vocal rearrangements were, it definitely could've been worse.

The original was quite better. The keyboard harmonies are terrible 😭 they're so loud, too. This sounds so chaotic, like being bombarded with random sounds that make zero sense combined. The guitar in the intro brings back bad memories, too. Liked the original composition a lot, though.

Square can't compare? You're joking, right? Last I checked, at least the FF7 Remake's OST both got NOMINATED and WON an award. When was the last time a Falcom track ever did that? This is coming from someone who loves the Falcom tracks, but no, Square can and HAS compared and then some.
